my advice to all english learners is to keep a laid-back attitude toward learning...if you force to much onto yourself it gets tense and learning stagger and it is more likely to give it up . be generous with your time while practising new lexis and ask for second opinion from people you find sincere and reliable. thank you Lucy for your terrific lessons and warm tone!

I'm a gifted introvert, however act like an extrovert once I get comfortable that people identify my as a talkative. I am an industrious and thoughtful person who can be warm enough to be with. I can be both generous and frugal based on the given circumstances and the purpose for which I'm expected to give. People mistake my strong-willed nature to be arrogance! Once I frankly put forth my point to the team, I become chilled out as it's going to be a team decision.
Earlier when i was new to learn English, I was quite an introvert and shy to speak up, then due to constant pushing of my sagacious teachers and of course teachers like you boost me up with confidence and it made me an extrovert. I was always advise my friends to be talkative if you want to speak English more fluently, but some of them are pessimistic afraid to err.

Then I meet the introverts who would not say a sound to save their lives and so I go quiet too and I fight with myself inside. Because Every time I see something funny or interesting and I want to screak that hey that's cool! - I remember that introverts don't needal anyone -noone noone noone. They want go be alobe in their wirld and hey. What can I do. I go back to my own shell and try to enjoy my own company - but I feel defeated and rejected. Most of the time I'm fighting with the urge to declare: I hate introverts. But I can't beat them. So I have to join them.
skojig, i guess you got some rough experiences so far but you shouldn't feel low find someone in your daily surroundings like in school, college, tutions or work. I would advise you to go with one who's not arrogant. keep this in mind.

I could be the warmest, kindness and sweetest or the other way around. Generally, I am considerate, thoughtful and tactful. However, I could become the opposite of those sometimes.

First of all, I have to tell you that I am an extroverted person as I see, because I like being around other people. Also, I really enjoy chatting with them, so I would say I am a talkative individual. Besides talking to people I also enjoy meeting new people and get to know their culture as I am tolerant and open-minded. Lastly, I believe I treat money well, but it can occur when I am extravagant and spend more than I tended. Hi Lucy, I really enjoy your lessons. However, I always have just one question. When you finish your lessons you normally say : "I hope you enjoyed it and I hope you learned something". Wouldn't be better to use Present Perfect instead of Past Simple when finishing a lesson? I'm an English teacher but I'm not a native speaker. Sometimes, I may be driven especially when I want something in desire and sometimes I cannot trust myself because of unintelligence , some kind of laziness.
in the past year or so i haven established a hard working attitude when applying myself at my current job. Managers have noticed my bright style of leadership and regard me as thoughtful modest trustworthy and generous.its easy to have a good day at work, although being tolerant throught the whole day can be difficult... always be clever and think on how to make a bad situation a good one

As a whole, I'd consider myself open-minded, tolerant, humble, introverted, smart, easy-going, down-to-earth, unambitious, witty, considerate, thoughtful, trushworthy, sensible. Often ironic, never self-confident or competitive or determined. Sincere, reliable, kind, generous, but sometimes I'm also temperamental, fickle, paranoid, absent-minded, stubborn, detached , too sensible, peevish, even snappish with those who annoy me or show aggressiviness. Sometimes I'm bad-tempered and melanchonly, even having a penchant for mournful and dreary thoughts. First of all, I have to tell you that I am an extroverted person as I see, because I like being around other people. Also, I really enjoy chatting with them, so I would say I am a talkative individual. Besides talking to people I also enjoy meeting new people and get to know their culture as I am tolerant and open-minded. Lastly, I believe I treat money well, but it can occur when I am extravagant and spend more than I tended.

Hi Lucy, I really enjoy your lessons. However, I always have just one question. When you finish your lessons you normally say : "I hope you enjoyed it and I hope you learned something". Wouldn't be better to use Present Perfect instead of Past Simple when finishing a lesson? I'm an English teacher but I'm not a native speaker. When I finish a lesson I usually use Present Perfect in such sentences. Is it incorrect? Please advise. Thanks a lot!

I'm kind of direct , may be honest, sincere and a little bit of modest. It may include timidity , less of confidence. Some of my friends say that I 'm trustworthy and reliable. Sometimes, I may be driven especially when I want something in desire and sometimes I cannot trust myself because of unintelligence , some kind of laziness.
in the past year or so i haven established a hard working attitude when applying myself at my current job. Managers have noticed my bright style of leadership and regard me as thoughtful modest trustworthy and generous.its easy to have a good day at work, although being tolerant throught the whole day can be difficult... always be clever and think on how to make a bad situation a good one
