Been waiting for this one! I recently finished reading Seneca, who I greatly enjoyed. Quite a bit to appreciate. It felt like reading an incomplete Ecclesiastes.
For a good summary of Stoicism and those elements that are compatible or can be made compatible with Christianity, a very good book is “The Porch and the Cross “ by Kevin Vost .
You missed the GOAT of the Stoics; Musonius Rufus. He was the Roman Socrates and was well regarded by Origen and Justin Martyr. Excellent video though!

Thank you for this video and covering the logos in Stoicism. I've recently been wrestling with John 1:1. Like what is the Logos (not just the definition, but how can I recognize it in my life or surroundings) and why Jesus is called the Logos. I've run into the term several times while reading philosophy. I don't know in what ways the gospel of John's Logos is similar or different to Heraclitus, Philo, Justin Martyr, etc's understanding of the Logos.

The Stoics were so close to understanding the Logos. Yet at the same time, they were so far away.
