For anyone curios, genshin's anniversary basically has the entire community getting mad at mihoyo and review bombing them due to the underwhelming anniversary rewards and events that they gave. Some also argue that mihoyo has had barely any communication with the community this past year and barely listened to them, which is the real reason why the community is mad.
