I think he sounds similar to Antony Starr, but I wish he didn't rely so much on vocal fry and whispering. It doesn't always sound natural to be talking that quietly. The Homelander in the show speaks from his chest more often

Like, there are a lot of stories that are multiverses but they always grab the worst version of all. The one that the comic books created that is hellish annoying. (It wasn't but after the thousand multiversal crises it starts to be).

So the start of this has Homelander successfully fend off the government's attempt to stop the superheroes. It's a reverse of the situation in the comic, where the government jet fighters defeat the superheroes.

This did not need to go this hard, the voice acting is phenomenal here.
It's an interesting ending because a lot of people dismiss homelander in 1v1s because he hasn't had any experience fighting someone on his level so the entire mk universe would be great training for him. Imagine him coming back after unknowingly training himself against stronger and stronger opponents for the first time dude would be ruthless.

They did Homelander So dirty in this game. From refusing to use Anthony Starr when he publicly said he was happy to do it. Then just focusing on the most bland aspects of homelander. They really did him dirty.

This one feels similar to Peacemaker's ending in that we get an explanation in how Homelander got to Mortal Kombat along with some of the things he did (mostly kill part of the cast) but not what happened after he defeated Shang Tsung.
Nothing against this actor, but...we really take Anthony Starr for granted.
With how well this has gone for MK1, Homelander might honestly be a shared character atp. Nobody sees why he shouldn’t. He fits it perfectly.

And in MK1 all the endings from the characters of the story are canon.
