This has become one of my favourite matches ever. As a fan who was majorly exposed to wrestling in the mid to late 2000's up to now and beyond, it so damn good.
It's been a while since I had so much fun watching a wrestling match. The cocky face coming to the ring dressed like a Power Ranger, the heel just having a blast playing a cartoony villain, flippy kicks all over the place. Just plain fun and I love it.
Marty is great. Awesome look, great character, crisp and believable in the ring, and entertaining as hell. Can't wait to see what the future holds for him.
Eh, King was forgettable on commentary to be honest. He somehow goes on more tangents than Shane does, and that says a lot what with his focusing on Blampied's ballsack and his chewing gum affection with Priestley.
the only reason I can think the tombstone is allowed is sort of like the how wwe still allows it by kane and undertaker. not sure about the Canadian destroyer though

He can do flippy shit as well as technical grounded ZSJ style of wrestling I’m a big ospreay fan but objectively Scurll comes off more like he could be a top guy/ superstar if given the chance

Marty Scurll is so lovable. So amazing at playing the asshole but it's impossible not to love him for it. My favourite heel in the business after seeing this match
To everyone in the comments picking the match apart, one of the greatest things about professional wrestling is the suspension of belief, let that happen and be entertained.
The more I watch Ospreay the more apparent the flaws in his style become. Too many botches, missed moves and far too much motion for a simply action. Just do an axe kick rather than that triple spin kick that you miss.
hey, he's still young man, his pride is taking over his moves but give him some time and he will polish them, he's only 23 for christ sake. At least he can play with bea's tatty bojangles after that :D
