In our latest trip to Japan, we happened to stumble across the now-world-famous Twin-Charged 2JZ Rolls Royce at Daikoku PA. The owner, Yajima-san, was very kind to let us ride along for a quick spin, and it most certainly didn't disappoint.

Very humble and skilled guy behind the wheel, cause once the back end lets goo at a corner... there's very little one could do to correct it, with such a heavy vehicle. Nice vids.. keep em coming.

+xxTyphoid twin charged, usually cars that do this use the supercharger to spool the turbo
yup twin charged but the original 2JZ turbo work the same way... the 2turbos was the same size but 1 would spool up at low RPMs then at higher RPMs the 2nd turbo would come online (both turbos would provide boost at high RPMs) this reduced turbo lag....

Believe it or not a fully functional turn key 2jz swap would be way more expensive. There's page's of v12 on ebay for a few grand... Sadly a old chevy truck engine is more valuable.
All this for an additional 150 horse? Man could get the same performance out of the stock engine with ease ...

The owner apparently did this because the stock V12 sharted itself to pieces and it would take Rolls Royce a very long time to get him a new V12 for the car.
