1:05 this gadget is really useful for D&D session. I can see that a DM would roll this dice-timer to decide how long someone's timeout penalty would be. It kinda adds to the game

For me it looks like it was designed as a torture device for a specific body part until someone found out it could also be used as an egg topper and started to sell it as a feature.

Another Egg Tip:
You should try giving them a quick ice bath or a run thru cold water before you snip the tops off. The egg retracts more from the shell so it is easier to peel etc to have a more perfected egg exterior. Just an idea for anyone who likes a clean presentation or values some Aesthetic Beauty.

I wonder if for the three hourglass timers, if you put the eggs in the water first then boil and then start the timers when the water boils if it would result it more accurate soft, medium and hard boiled eggs?

That timer may be weird but I love how it's manufactured so well, a tilted changer? Can charge regularly, and most of all you can adjust the time! Would be absolutely perfect for those who have hearing problems or have problems forgetting what time they are counting down to.
I really like the timer.
The tilt on the display is so you can see it standing over it like if you are cooking

Love those egg cutters - been using one for years. Yes, hold the egg with one hand and make sure the cutter is level when you cut 🐔 and twist 😊

@@Mary-Ann_B_Mabaet some people use knives and cut it off but I usually hit the top with a spoon and peel off all the bits of eggshell
it's a British / British Colony thing.... it's called soft boiled eggs with 'soldiers' (the soldiers are the thin strips of toast). You dip / dunk the 'soldiers' into the soft boiled egg......it's well known in Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand etc etc...@@Mary-Ann_B_Mabaet

i think the reason for the timers display being dull when looking head-on and not at an angle is so that you can just look at it without picking it up or moving it/yourself to see the time left as you would naturally be looking down on it and not straight at it

I noticed that for the ones where the egg cracker (the thing used at the start to break the tops of eggs) would work most of the time and when it didn’t work you were holding the tool at an angle

For the topper I think the tops on the eggs for some of them were smaller then others so the grips on the topper weren’t piercing it enough so it just stayed on. Better for the medium sized top eggs.
A real winner tool. I use the shells to grow seeds. Then rooting break shell drop it in the ground.

I've never seen eating eggs inside the shell! That's interesting. When we make hard boiled eggs they're normally solid inside and not runny, then we peel the shell off to eat them or use them for eggsalad sandwiches

Here in America soft boiled eggs are not that common, so these tools are probably never gonna be household items...but not for me!
The biggest problem with soft boiled eggs is the leaking of the yolk...I can't wait to get my hands on some of these items
