That's their plan talaga to elevate their players from Juniors to Seniors. Coach Nash also recruited several HS players to play for Baby Falcons. I think wala lang siya sa bench kasi masasapawan niya si Coach Mike/ With regards to those players na umalis, I think masyado silang talented para magstay sa Adamson, malaki talaga ang binigay panigurado sa mga to na hindi na nila kinaya ng Adamson yun. Pero atleast they were able to secure already the commitment of several HS players namely Medina, Abayon, Sajili, Perez and Tumaneng. Sana lang talaga sure na.
All of these are good to hear! We love that he's already very involved. But maybe a bit more personal touch is needed to truly secure commitments from their HS players. Let's be honest, commitments from HS are not 100% sure haha. Anything can happen. Just look at Jared Bahay hahaha - Gab

Here are my thoughts though for each team: Adu - Coach Nash should be careful on what he says to the media with regards to his players and you guys are right about Joem if he is injured or not because its not helping their image at all. With all the off-court drama last season, outstanding recruits from their high school division chose other schools to play in the college level. ADMU - The biggest reason is really their Center position as you all mentioned in the previous episodes, if they want to compete for the Final Four, they have to get a decent Center regardless if its an FSA or local player. Trust in coach Tab, he knows what he's doing. DLSU - They have the tools and tactics that they need in order to compete for a back-to-back title, their biggest problem is not the PG position since they have a ton of guards in their roster already who can fill that in but more of execution of plays and being composed all through-out the game. Coach Topex knows that he trusts his players to make the right plays but he needs to make sure that he doesn't give too much freedom on the offensive end because there are times that there will be no ball movement or the offense becomes stagnant. FEU - Coach Chambers should recruit more shooters since they have a good and young team who can compete with top tier teams and we've seen it in the preseason.
I don't know if you've talked about it in a previous episode, but I'm curious why there were two high school basketball tournaments conducted by the UAAP recently. There was the HS Boys won by the Adamson Baby Falcons, and the HS Juniors won by the NU Bullpups.
The tournament won by Adamson was the UAAP Juniors, while the tournament won by NU was UAAP junior high school. Most players in UAAP juniors (not all, but most) are in Grade 11 & 12, otherwise known as senior high school. I’m pretty sure the age cap is 19. Meanwhile, the UAAP junior high school is for players in Grade 10 & below, with an age cap of 16 years old.

That's the thing with Cholo. He's played mostly off ball but I think he's best when he's on the ball. I've seen him be a lead playmaker in certain stretches. He's athletic enough to get to the rim and he's also a very willing passer - Gab

Meron atang Reason si Sean Chambers on getting another FSA. I don't know what it is. But there is. As for Konateh, Tama din si Gab sa kanya. He is a very good FSA nitong Pre-season Tournaments. Sa Filoil he averaged 12ppg 14rpg double double (He even won the Rebkunder of the Season at Filoil) so we all know he is a huge improvement compared to Faty and Hopefully, mas lalo pa syang mag improve because from what I'm seeing he has better skills and motor than those of Tchuente and Faty combined. MAGWAWALA TALAGA KAMING MGA TAGA FEU PAG BUMALIK PA SI FATY PLS LANG TAMA NA. 3. The Arrival of Jayden Jones and Adam Nakai could potentially solve the three point shooting issues of FEU. Those 2 lalo na si Nakai are known to shoot the lights out of the games they played, and hopefully they do the same thing come Season 87. Jorick continuesly improves his game and I think, when a game decision is on the line, Jorick should take the last shot coz we've seen how good he's been during crunch time. Si Pre naman is shooting good from the three but, I think he needs to work on his dribbling dahil lagi syang natatawagan ng Traveling. Last game nya, 8 TOs. GREAT SHOW AS ALWAYS, SAM GAB AND MAUI! Coach Topex mentioned another coach’s name when talking about offense in that video. (Side note: sana mabuhay na uli yung channel haha) FEU - Saw in a pinoyliga website na Konateh is only 18 years old? Not sure how legit yun. Maybe FEU just got another FSA just in case something happens.
I agree with Maui. It seems like Coach Topex left his players in on purpose especially when UP was making a run and didnt even call a timeout. Ramiro had 3 consecutive forced shots and a turnover in the 3rd quarter but he wasnt subbed out. I think Topex was giving him the time to "feel" the real physicality being guarded by JD and other UP guards. JD would have fouled out if he guarded like that in the AAU or even in the US NCAA lol He coached it like a proper preseason game and the team would settle down once Phillips and David returns. Ramiro seems like a band aid solution for this year as DLSU is loaded on that spot next year.
With KQ getting all those touches and minutes in the clutch? Don’t think so. Btw both David and Phillips were turnover machines during their meeting with UP.
Well for Adamson, why not convince Coach Nash to be the consultant of the Juniors team helping Coach Mike Fermin (The Aaron Fermin you've mentioned, he's a player, former Adamson player now with Mapua I guess) but I think this move will be good, Coach Mike Fermin as HC, Coach Nash as Consultant, similar to NU Bullpups, Coach Kevin De Castro as HC, Coach Jeff Napa as Consultant. Now, for Ateneo, Balogun is reportedly having back spasms, so makes sense if it's true. I think Ateneo should gamble for the Kofi guy from the football team if Balogun is not available for S87. Their bigman situation is really bad, I hope Coach Tab recruit more bigs not just big guys but skilled and versatile big guys. DLSU, If I'm Coach Topex, I will try more sets very new plays, maybe copy some from the Euroleague/NBA rather than sticking to what's working and what won them the title. You're right, Composure is developed and not teached, but in game adjustments is a must. I hope they don't rely much on KQ, I hope they really run plays for everyone, if you can create for Gaspay, go. If You can create for Poli, Do it. As long as they maximize all the potential of his players and create plays for them, I Coach Topex should have the willingness to really maximize every single player and have a mindset that DLSU is a team-talented squad. For FEU, definitely shooting is a quite an issue for them, if Coach Sean recruit great shooters either from their Juniors team or from somewhere else.
