I've honest to God never seen a tutorial that was so helpful. I've been playing ESO since the beginning of June and have watched 20 or 30 tutorials for newcomers. I got better advice from the first 20 minutes than I've learned from hours of other videos. Honestly, thank you.
I wanted to note that you can technically mount at lvl 1 ( not 10 ) as long as you have an account wide mount and set it from your collections. Also a good idea is to create all classes you want at once and every day just login to lvl their mount speed
@@thelolodude857 depending on how many characters you have, you can make a profit just doing daily consumable writs and they will auto complete if you have spare in your inventory. At max level you get over 600 gold for one of the 3 dailies. And of course you can do them on multiple characters. Of course this does require quite a bit of prep work. But you’ll get more mats than you use with those 3 writs.
My wife and I just started playing together. I've played off and on for years solo, and this is one of the most comprehensive guides I've seen about any video game, it's the guide I wish I had for other games. You are absolutely rocking it!
Just started ESO and ran around a little bit I was so overwhelmed at everything you could do, I had NO CLUE! Now that I’ve seen this I’m going to give it another try and follow the instructions and I’m sure it will help put me on the right path to be a successful ESO player.
Definitely stick with it - I did the same when I first played 2 years ago… I found it quite overwhelming because there is so much to do! But I started back up again just over a year ago and it’s been amazing 🤩 I’m now an officer for an amazing guild and it’s made the game so fun to play with other like minded people! Best of luck 😇
I've gotta say.. The way you go into detail about every little thing is amazing. Thank you so much for these guides. I came in to ESO loving Elder Scrolls but never playing an MMO so everything was a little overwhelming--and still is. But these breakdowns and guides have helped tremendously. Thank you
I'm stopping at 6 minute mark to say: Thank You. Amazingly clear and succinct delivery of basic information that is communicated so badly in the game, if at all. What an absolute treasure the channel you've built is. Just got into ESO and don't know how long I'm staying but, regardless of the game, what you do here is impeccable. Friendly, clear, straightforward, confident, and informed. I didn't even get a chance to watch other ESO channels before knowing I won't need any. Honest congratulations, man.
Seriously Man you have the best guides going! You make it so easy for new players to digest all that is ESO. There are so many facets to this game it can be overwhelming. They way you lay them out and your simple explainations have taught me so much. I'm just hitting CP 500 and still have little grasp on stuff like dungeons and pledges. I learn alot watching all your vids. Keep 'em coming.
If u plan on switching to PC dont start going crazy on ps4 because ur account wont switch. I had a CP500 on ps4 and got a PC and had to redo everything
You're awesome man. Great video. I just started the game after trying to get into it several times over the years. It's just overwhelming for someone that doesn't play MMOs much. This makes everything much more approachable and lays out a defined path of how I should focus my efforts to progress efficiently. I'll definitely use your build guides as well since they are excellent. Thanks for the hard work you put in to this channel to help the community. It's greatly appreciated.
I'm a long time Elder Scrolls superfan. I've played every game and adore the franchise. Never touched ESO because I've never played more than a few minutes of an MMO, and I really, really don't tend to like them. My friends and I got this game while it was on sale and have been trying it out, but I nearly gave it up because I just have no idea what's going on in an MMO, despite loving Elder Scrolls and how the game looked, and the lore and quests. This video changed that. Honestly, hats off to you, you're amazing. This was so concise to listen to, and really opened up the game for me. I can't wait for work to slow down for me now to put all of this into effect and finally get to experience another Elder Scrolls games. Really, what an amazing job with this. I now know how to actually play the game without being confused what's going on, or intimidated about doing anything because I didn't understand. Will definitely watch the Beginner Guide during work tomorrow for even more info, and 100% subbing to see more from you. Absolute legend! ❤
The problem with most ESO guides is they assume you already know a lot about the game and they only explain the thing that’s in the title. It feels like a rabbit hole where you have to watch a million videos just to understand one video. I appreciate your teaching.
This took me all day just complete the 1-10 stuff. This also includes the 30% mount speed from assault passive. Best starter setup for a toon. Thanks a million Ghost!
I recently got into PC gaming and I started my first character yesterday and I just wanted to say I love your guides, I feel like a pro ESO player now, thank you so much!😊
thank you so much for this guide! I started playing right before the official release, i played for maybe 6 months and stopped, ive tried to come back numerous times but im overwhelmed with all the new content and i have no idea where to start or what to even look for, this guide is perfect! youre the best!
Holy shit. My friend, your videos have convinced me to give ESO a go after dropping it at launch. Got a weird bug in my head on checking out the game again, saw the necromancer class, saw your death Knight build (which is exactly what I wanted), and now all this crisp, clean, and efficiently delivered knowledge dump that is the most amazingly well paced chunk of info I could ever need? You are an amazing content creator! I wish I could sub twice. I truly appreciate your direct communication on essential knowledge without meandering time filler dialogue to pad the video.
I recently started lvling on an alt with a friend who made a new toon after coming back for blackwood. He wanted to tackle the game in chronological story order but I did convince him we'd be better off making a stop in Blackwood to get a companion while he was still low lvl, especially considering their progress carries over on other characters and at low lvl their help can be nice. So it's nice to see that according to this vid I made the right call. Something I'd add in regards to lvling up a tank/healer character would be to have a side setup that can deal more substantial damage, wether with sets or by specing skill points into damage abilities. Make sure to have the essentials like a tank's taunt/pull and a healer's most effective healing abilities but save some points for damage, otherwise completing overland content could very well take a pretty hefty amount of time and can feel discouraging at times, especially if you see a DPS player blast right past you at insane speed. There will be tons of skill points in the long run to eventually have sets entirely focused on the job of tanking/healing and a separate one for damage when going on casual ventures. I focused a lot of my attention on tanking early on on my character and spent a very long while dealing very little damage to anything I fought simply because I did not have any abilities that dealt proper damage. Additionally, even if the fighter's and mage's guild skill line are stamina and magicka focused skill lines respectively, they both have nice utility abilities like fighter's guild having a pull, AoE heal or minor force ability and mage's guild having an AoE stun or magicka restore ability.
wanted to tackle the game in chronological story order ...I'm trying to do that and its not easy If you find a really good guide for the order please me know
Best guide I've come across so far! I don't agree on all of it but it sums up amazingly efficiant and well structured how to build up a character from scratch! For new players all the extra guilds might be a little overwhelming at first but with the mention that once you're collected those quests/skill-lines it is totaly fine to leave them aside, a damn good advice. It is a great way to not regret finding them much later in the game.
I’ve been playing for a few months. And have talked to people in game. And watched guides and read stuff online. Not once did anyone ever explain or show “ scrying “ . Until I just came across this video. Thank you 👻 !
I played this game early on and have always burnt out quickly because of how overwhelming it can be. I'm on a new playthrough and found this video. 10 minutes in, I've learned more than 3 years of failed attempts at getting in to the game. Thank you for providing a succinct, clear and helpful tutorial that is making this playthrough fun and exciting. Can't wait to play more!
the problem with doing dungeons the first time is people dont give you time to read or listen to the quest. So i usually skip the quests till i am higher level and can solo the dungeon.
It's taken me nearly a full day to watch this video as my youngest wouldn't leave me haha, but this is the best & most informative piece of ESO I've ever watched & trust me ive watched stupid amounts, thankyou very much 👍
Great video. One suggestion to all, if you want to pursue unlocking the psijic guild skill tree, wait until after you unlock Cyrodiil, and unlock the skill lines so you can get the extra mount speed. The psijic guild quest will have you traverrsing 2/3's of Summerset, and the extra travel speed is very nice.
Yeah I think all the guides I've seen so far haven't really explained how much is involved in getting the Psijic Guild skill tree unlocked. It takes a good while!
this is indeed one of the best guides for beginners out there... however, it's long, and eventually, we get lost - some of us with ADD - and as such I'd recommend breaking it down into segments of no more than 6-10 minutes and eventually create a series of episodes or a playlist that we, the viewers can watch at our own pace when we get the chance... yes, I know there are posted timestamps we can use, but it's not the same as following some episodes... but, even so, it's still one of the best guides that I could find... I just sub'ed to keep up to date...
Subbed! Came upon your channel whilst doing research for ESO. I have the played but been playing it on and off. I wanted a good open world game and this suffice really well, but all the stuff like worlds/countries or regions in the game are sometimes a little much. I own multiple DLC packs too, so i'm a bit overwhelmed with all of it still. Same for character level up, skills etc. Not sure what is best and all, but really depends on what you want with your character. I learned today that you can make every character a hybrid, tanker, healer or attacker, thanks to the video of you where you explain ESO ups and downs. So thanks for that and i'll be thankful and support you with watching videos and refer to friends who want to play (again) etc.
As an aside, I've found it valuable to go through the tutorial even though I've done it before. The new tutorial in particular offers a ton of bookshelves where you possibly get a skill book (seems to be a low chance but you'll definitely add some books to your lore library) and lootable containers _everywhere_ . I ran a new character through and ended up looting 7 Decorative Wax and picked up 2 or 3 provisioning recipes as well. Also, the new area has full sets of all armor and weapons available so you can equip everything and unlock the skill lines.
Late to the comments, but just wanted to add (may already be something you mention) using your second free Armory build as a build dedicated to crafting is a real nice way to level crafting and complete trait research without having to spread the small amount of skill points players have a lower levels. My buddy came up with the idea as I had no Armory system when I started. Hopefully others can use this!
I love this video! It covers the exact kind of stuff that I was having trouble finding in regards to things I should do right away so they are being worked on as I level up. This video has removed a lot of the self induced stress I feel when I start a new game and I am not sure if I am missing something I could be doing at the same time as leveling.
I'm a returning player (off for 6 months), and your videos have been a godsend. They have really helped me get back into the game and allocate my skills. Thanks!!!
This is definitely the most helpful guide on YT, you’ve covered absolutely everything I needed to know. I feel my DK is ready to take on the world 😂 Thank you so much.😍
What a fantastic guide ! Very helpful honestly I was confused about plenty of things about ESO and this video not only helped me understand the game better it also got me excited to dive into it
ESO should make this video a must watch for any new player, I am new, about a week now and I did not know any of this and not sure I would have sound it. WOW thanks a million for a fantastic guide.
This is the guide that keeps on giving. I am on my second alt and literally just following along with this video. You are the best Lucky Ghost!! Fantastic content! 👍 🤘
Thank you so much for this amazing guide! I just started a few days ago even if i had the game in my library for years. I always felt too overwhelmed by the massive amount of content, but your guides are just everything i could ever ask for. Grazie!
I have had this game almost from day one. I don't get to play often due to health reasons and my highest is 22. OMG this was so helpful for someone trying to come back to the game after a long time. Thank you so much for this!
Very good video. I always unlock the Fighters guild and Mages guild when I'm in Solitude for the Scrying and Excavating. Of course if you don't have access to it, it's not gonna be possible.
After watching most of your other vids I thought I had the start all sorted... but companions!!! damn... best ESO vids ever... I would also add in your crafting at level 6... gives a dew levels of XP and for a very small amount of time helps level the tables and gives some nice daily gold which really helps when it comes to bags...
Dude I spent like 2 hours traversing around in map for the %30 horse gallop lol. It spawned me super far from the quest point and didn’t know you could fast travel. Watched your video and now I’m so relieved Ty
Love the guide man it's great & it gets me hype for when I get home from work lol. Sadly in my experience the truth regarding the dungeons is that there is a portion of players that you'll do randoms with (& paired randomly) who are unforgiven when it comes to vet dungeons and if you do not know the mechanics or mess up once (or twice if they're in a better mood) they will vote to kick you to oblivion (or berate you before the kick) so my advice would be to learn the dungeons via UA-cam guide's that way you can help other's & hold your own I had to do so and I'm glad I did because many dungeon mechanics can be hellish if you're not familiar & some people don't even offer to help they just get rid of you. I had one friend I use to play with but he left a while back so I figured I'd offer the tip as a loner lol.
I've come back to this video so many damn times 😹 Bro you did an awesome job with this. My friend sent me this. But we were already level 20...but we did everything you said and it's helped up so much!! Thank you!
A great video my friend. You do the pioneers of ESO content creation proud. Well done. Great presentation easy to follow instruction for new players. Also a nice refresher for those Veterans returning from days of old. Last time i played was just after Marrowind expansion was released in 2017. So so much to play through. Look forward to watch what else you have put together for helpful videos.
wow ghosty. ive been playing this damn game since before summerset off and on FOR YEARS. tried watching so many build guides just to try and get a general idea of what the hell i was doing wrong and they NEVER talk about low level stuff even though some of them are "Leveling Guides" I cant say enough how informative this was, maybe i'll finally get my ass to level 50 and start getting some of that sweet sweet CP
Watched this and decided I needed to start another toon so I'm going with your solo stamina build with a dark elf and I'm going to follow this to see how it goes, daily dungeons and all.
i may be very late but god damn my guy this guide was very helpful, i played eso a good while ago, recently redownloaded and thought i'd give it another go i got on all my addons were gone because its a new pc and i had absolutely no idea how or where to get them back or what i had, i only have the 1 character atm and i'm like level 34-35 ish, this guide is opening my eyes and flooding back in memories of when i played, Thankyou I really appreciate the time and effort you put into this guide, i will definitely need to save it in my favourites because i'll need to return once i hit lvl 50 and such XD
Very useful guide for anyone who's starting. Way better than the power leveling guides. But I do think that you forgot to mention some stuff (or maybe you did mention then and I wasn't paying attention at the time). First would be battleground daily match, gives the same amount of exp as the random dungeon daily and also gives equipment, style pages and even leads. Even if a player doesn't like pvp, it's worth mentioning that. Second thing is that you mentioned the skill points from the main quest, but not from the zone main quests and in my opinion that's the main reason to level up you character as you play the game instead of power leveling, getting to cp 160 without skill points is a terrible idea. And the last thing is researching traits. Again, sorry if you did mention that somewhere, I was playing while hearing the video ans maybe I missed something.
Super amazing man ty for posting this I stopped playing my first year I was overwhelmed and followed delta which didn't help. I need to get blackwood before I re-start, you gave me hope I can actually get somewhere:)
Bro the mount speed passive part alone makes this video earn it's views holy shit theres no way thats only 30% it feels like it fucking doubled my mountspeed. A friend and I both just started playing and he felt the same way about it feeling way more than 30%. What a tip man I probably woulda gone months not realizing this.
The only issue with this guide is if your a starting player who just has the base game to see if you'll like it you can't do a lot of these things or go to certain areas without Also buying the dlc or subbing to ESO plus. Otherwise a fantastic guide.
Can we have an updated addon guide or even better since original is still usefull an advanced version of dif addons you use plus ones you reccomend? My GF and I used your guide for our addons and would love some more reccomendations from you
I appreciate your videos so much man. Been playing the game for 7 months now and got decent at the game but there’s so much that the game doesn’t tell you so I rely on your videos to keep learning more. Btw I main your magcro build and it’s a blast!
Wow…glad I found this….just started ESO a couple days ago….coming gw2 and swtor….made a Nighblade duel dagger…she’s level 17 and I’ve been doing it all wrong😂😂. Absolutely hated the mount, slow as molasses, crafting is confusing as hell, gonna fall back and do some of this stuff in the video before proceeding…I didn’t even know you could be a member of multiple guilds
Amazing. Great guide! I bought the game at launch, but stopped playing after not long. Was to much problems with it. I've been on and off with long breaks, but never played to much. Just returned to try to give it a longer chance now, so i got 3 lvl 50 / cp190..... And I think i've done every single thing that you mentioned, wrong... haha.. No companion, no unlocking of most of the skillines, sold most gear instead of deconstructing it, got the mount speed buff, but was reset long ago, so i never remembered to get it back. Thanks for the guide anyways :D
This guide and the most recent one of beginners guide tipped me over the edge to start playing, I've started today. Thank you. Edit: you should really really elaborate how to get the Undaunted skill line a bit more. I still don't know how to get it

this is indeed one of the best guides for beginners out there... however, it's long, and eventually, we get lost - some of us with ADD - and as such I'd recommend breaking it down into segments of no more than 6-10 minutes and eventually create a series of episodes or a playlist that we, the viewers can watch at our own pace when we get the chance...
yes, I know there are posted timestamps we can use, but it's not the same as following some episodes...
but, even so, it's still one of the best guides that I could find...
Truly the best guide, I tried to watch other guide but I was just lost I didn’t know what to do until you my savior
Great order for new characters, been playing for years and totally missed some of these things on a few characters and missed out on some good perks
Thanks!!!
Glad to hear it!
You have just made me want to play ESO online again. I haven't played it since 2018. This tutorial is what I needed back then.
To be honest, I had no idea this was ESO till I started reading all the comments. Thank you for this!!!!
This is definitely the most helpful guide on YT, you’ve covered absolutely everything I needed to know. I feel my DK is ready to take on the world 😂 Thank you so much.😍
Glad I could help!
Glad you enjoyed it!
This is the guide that keeps on giving. I am on my second alt and literally just following along with this video. You are the best Lucky Ghost!! Fantastic content! 👍 🤘
Thanks for this man. I started playing a few days ago and this is one of the most helpful videos I’ve seen!
I like how he makes a whole video on what will make the game easier when you first start playing haha it’s very helpful
I agree this has sorted me right out thanks soo much work you have put in is incredible
Thank you so much for this amazing guide! I just started a few days ago even if i had the game in my library for years. I always felt too overwhelmed by the massive amount of content, but your guides are just everything i could ever ask for. Grazie!
arguably the best and most informative ESO content creator, so much detail in ever video!
I have had this game almost from day one. I don't get to play often due to health reasons and my highest is 22. OMG this was so helpful for someone trying to come back to the game after a long time. Thank you so much for this!
glad I could help!
This is gold. Best video for ESO newbies hands down.
I'm going too buy the game tomorrow when I get payed and your video is helping me so you earned yourself a sub
Very good video. I always unlock the Fighters guild and Mages guild when I'm in Solitude for the Scrying and Excavating. Of course if you don't have access to it, it's not gonna be possible.
This is hands down the most easy understandable guide channels to Eso builds ect ever! Thank you so ok much lucky you are amazing at what you do!
I couldn't smash this like button hard enough. You sir have earned a subscriber for life.
Your the reason I continue to play eso Your guidance helps alot.
I've come back to this video so many damn times 😹
Bro you did an awesome job with this. My friend sent me this. But we were already level 20...but we did everything you said and it's helped up so much!!
Thank you!
Best guide I’ve every seen. Thank you for making this very simple and complete!
Best video Ive ever seen for begginers. Thanks you so much
A great video my friend. You do the pioneers of ESO content creation proud. Well done. Great presentation easy to follow instruction for new players. Also a nice refresher for those Veterans returning from days of old. Last time i played was just after Marrowind expansion was released in 2017. So so much to play through. Look forward to watch what else you have put together for helpful videos.
wow ghosty. ive been playing this damn game since before summerset off and on FOR YEARS. tried watching so many build guides just to try and get a general idea of what the hell i was doing wrong and they NEVER talk about low level stuff even though some of them are "Leveling Guides"
I cant say enough how informative this was, maybe i'll finally get my ass to level 50 and start getting some of that sweet sweet CP
This is awesome ty I've just gotten into elder scrolls in the last 6 months and just started my eso account last week and this was perfect
This is the greatest progression tutorial I’ve ever seen.❤️
Dude I bought this game yesterday and I've watched your videos longer than I've played the game
Haha same I started a few weeks ago on ps4 I'm a warden class how about you? :D
@@peterle8482 I chose Nightblade. Looked really cool
Watched this and decided I needed to start another toon so I'm going with your solo stamina build with a dark elf and I'm going to follow this to see how it goes, daily dungeons and all.
I'm level 20 and only now I'm doing some things that you talked about. I wish I had watched this before. Thank you so much
Glad I saw this before I started playing. I feel I’m a little late but I’ve put this game off long enough I’m ready for a solo adventure.
With the recently added systems it is in a great spot to play solo (like I do) looking at the "Ring of the pale Order" or/and comoanions! Enjoy!
i may be very late but god damn my guy this guide was very helpful, i played eso a good while ago, recently redownloaded and thought i'd give it another go i got on all my addons were gone because its a new pc and i had absolutely no idea how or where to get them back or what i had, i only have the 1 character atm and i'm like level 34-35 ish, this guide is opening my eyes and flooding back in memories of when i played, Thankyou I really appreciate the time and effort you put into this guide, i will definitely need to save it in my favourites because i'll need to return once i hit lvl 50 and such XD
Fantastic guide for a returning player. I am enjoying the game now more than ever
That movement speed buff for your mount is huge!! Can't believe I didn't do this sooner.
2 minutes in and i already know this is exactly what i was looking for.
Bought this game in May of 2020, didn’t really like it and I hadn’t touched since until about a week ago and these vids really helping out
Can we have an updated addon guide or even better since original is still usefull an advanced version of dif addons you use plus ones you reccomend? My GF and I used your guide for our addons and would love some more reccomendations from you
looking to start ESO and your videos have been the most helpful - thankyou!!
I appreciate your videos so much man. Been playing the game for 7 months now and got decent at the game but there’s so much that the game doesn’t tell you so I rely on your videos to keep learning more. Btw I main your magcro build and it’s a blast!
Glad to hear it!
Dude your videos are amazing and easily the most useful I have seen so far.
Hey man your content is great! You present extremely well.
Thank you so much for this video, such a good ESO content creator.
This guide and the most recent one of beginners guide tipped me over the edge to start playing, I've started today. Thank you.
Edit: you should really really elaborate how to get the Undaunted skill line a bit more. I still don't know how to get it
Thank you for such a well informed easy to follow guide. Earned my sub, keen to see more helpful videos for new ESO players.
Awesome, thank you!
Great guides. Subbed.
Thanks for doing these. They are a huge help.
Just bought the blackwood collection for PS5. Watching this while it downloads so I can get a good start. Thx 🙏
We needed an updated lvling guide. Nice content!
Thanks man this guide is sooo helpful. This is my first step into the Elder Scrolls games and my first true mmo. It's alot to take in lol
Bastian: I don't know which of the Eight Divines sent you this way...
Me: His name's Lucky.
This guide is probably one of the best guides I've ever seen. I think you forgot to mention Mundus stones? Those are pretty good buffs too.
Completely new to the game and THANK YOU FOR ALL THAT IS HOLY LUCKY GHOST about the +30% mount speed.
Heck ya :D
