"You know i have godfrey in hand?" Kibler, the dude is playing aggro paladin, he probably doesn't even know how to look at any minion that doesn't have taunt
but he's playing in legend (even if not quite high) and he played as a person who has a clear game plan with Zephrys, playing murloc charger first to get Cabal Shadowpriest after and trade 2/1 into 8/2. I'd not say that he's a bad player. Also if Kibler would Godfrey'd that wave he could've had troubles with second one, and that might be part of paladin's plan. Sometimes you must try to bait aoe to get it gone earlier, and murloc pally is the type of decks that rarely win if their opponent has all the aoe. I think that it wasn't a bad play, rather good I'd say. You apply pressure, you make your topdecks better, if your opponent has to spend big clear on your first tip-the-scales - you're feeling only good about that. Quite unfortunately for pally tho his draws were really not the best (he could've won with couple of things somewhere in midgame after hellfire, but got no lethal cards) while warlock got all the things he needed, the only copy of early-aoe he had and then the best anti-aggro turn 7 with ton of small taunts and healing. He got highrolled tbh. Same as when Reno deck gets its only copy of cheap aoe and then Reno on turn 6-7, unwinnable for aggro.

Kibler isn't a bad player in any sense of the phrase. He's a fantastic player that plays bad (but fun) decks. There's no doubt in my mind that Kibler could be one of the top hs players if he wanted to.
he IS already one of the top HS players. He's played and won many tournaments. And he plays original decks that he makes, not net-decks. Sometimes they are better than others but he plays mostly what he's having fun with.
Playing self-created decks that none can see coming is a big part of his success. He destroyed a MTG tournament by playing a huge Dragon at the time creatures sucked and everybody were playing spell-focused decks.
I started playing the variant of this deck that doesn’t have the mountain giants yesterday. Does Kibler just experiment with switching cards out? Also I thought he said that mountain giants are bad in this deck... He probably won’t answer, but should I run the version with the giants instead?
