    This version is boss. Cajun is very much an evolved cuisine similar to our Trini cuisine. The Cajuns are Canadians who left east coast CANADA and migrated to The Louisiana area. The spoke French and brought their cooking style of stews and integrated the local African spice blend. Lovely video Resh.

    I think Bat put ginger in the oil when he fry the chicken down by shark river...my mommy use to put garlic in the oil. I love your videos!

    Beats the Colonel fa sure. Can you explain the green seasoning stuff you use. Did not catch the names you mentioned. Also using all that cayenne and chilli doesn't it make it really hot. When I use Cayenne its pretty much spicy like crazy.

    Looks delicious before and after the chicken was fried. Did you boil the sauce and used a thickening agent such as cornstarch ?

    I've done it like this and it ain't that crisp. Try flouring it and letting it sit for abt 10 min. To let the flour "dry out". Insane crispy.

    • @TasteofTrini
      @TasteofTrini  6 років тому

      zazoo 2539 Will try it, but this was really crispy still, I think it was the soy sauce and mustard that helped the flour stick on better.

    Yummy hope this one doesn't taste like fish when I try. I don't know why my kids say my fry chicken taste like fish. Hope it's not too spice for them.

      veshmah Lalwah what oil do you use try using a different oil or if you cook fish a lot use a different frying pan

    • @TasteofTrini
      @TasteofTrini  6 років тому

      veshmah Lalwah It could be the pot or oil you use. This didn't taste like fish. You don't have to add all those spices I added

    • @veshmahlalwah334
      @veshmahlalwah334 6 років тому
