I'm at the end of my first year with my '66-six coupe. I've been through the mechanicals, fuel, brakes, and exhaust. Now I'm doing the sheet metal work. I've taken detours to remodel my garage (worth it), modify tools (stuff like putting an aftercooler on the compressor) in order to make the work "better" and "more fun". Now I'm down to the dirty work. I still work on it from 1-2 hours a day. What a can of worms-and mine was a pretty solid car. I haven't even driven the car yet since it wasn't running worth spit when I bought it. Keep the faith, I enjoy the videos.
Thanks for the comment highlight! I’ve found great entertainment and a new band to listen to from your vids. Keep it up and cheers to year 3. See ya on the forums. Also, when you do let forth an ‘exclamation’ on occasion it’s about the most relatable thing on the planet.
your actually funnier and more entertaining than Derek on Vice Grip garage. but I really enjoy the way he brings back the dead and then drives it across the country, I really admire that.
Love your red six cylinder with parchment interior mustang and all the work performed, all the fucks given and not and fucks said and your music to go along with it all! Keep up the half way decent work, you’ve got my attention with every video.
You’re not going to get a guilt trip out of me, Tom. I’ve been working on my 66 coupe project longer than you have yours. It’s a long journey. The budget nature of your work is a big part of the appeal. Likewise, any goofball rally type stuff is going to be appreciated. Lastly, fucking painful as it may be, I enjoyed the state of this rusty Mustang union address. Whatever you want to post, I’ll be watching.
I bought my 65 fastback 6 banger in 2009 and just now finished it in 2023. mine lived in arizona all its life so it was rust free and luckily dent free and complete and still took me that long to restore. but mine is SEMA show quality build, about 3000 to 4000 hours worth. hard part was converting from an in-line 6 to a v-8, its alot more than just changing the engine, have to change tranny, suspension, steering geometry and stiffen the uni-body, change rear end from a 7.5 to 8 inch rear-end etc etc, good luck my friend, you sure make me laugh, but so many f-bombs, not family friendly. .. but you are very entertaining so no foul...LOL you have the you tube personality, I dont, but I can build a bad-ass car.
You're doing just fine Tom, interesting, there are a lot of videos popping up about replacing rear frame rails on first generation Mustangs recently, could be a sign!
You used my comment on your video. Did I win anything? How about that picture taped on the wall behind you? That High Life sign looks pretty sexy too. Kidding of course. Love the videos man. And my offer of mailing aluminum tape still stands. Even though you have a few rolls.
Hey man love the energy you putting on the car. I started following your UA-cam channel this year. I'm fan of your hard work. Definitely not a fast project to do. I just buy my first mustard 65 project car. I'm also learning as go haha. its a hell of work to do.
I also have a shitbox 66 mustang. But working on it is my peace. Nobody to tell me how. Just do what the hell I want. I also have a 65 Shelby Cobra replica I am building. over three years into it now. Still ain't done. Don't give a shit.
Hi Top video!!! I'm doing up a 65 my self and I'm in Sydney Australia. Why am I telling you where I'm is because I want to know what the name of the song is that you played at the end of the video? Keep up the good and hard work!
My hearing is not what it used to be, but I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt that the commenters name was.. cut...worm. Although not as funny as what I thought I heard. Cheers from the shed

you're a goddam national treasure, Tom
I applaud your efforts in attacking this huge project. I wished I had your skills to tackle such a thing
Fun video, enjoyed watching you work and suffer as I do with my 56 Bird. Thanks
So funny; you are so authentic; just great your channel and your work and ambitions.
This is so much fun to watch, although I should be in my garage fixing my own 66 C-code. That had its interior eaten by mice.
Came for the content. Stayed for the music. 😙
Nice. You do you. ✌️
Good shit. Thanks for the video

One of my favorites, for sure.
Love your videos. Love your swearing. Love what you’re doing to the Mustang. Keep up the bad work 😂😂

I'm happy to hear someone else say out loud how much they hate air compressors.

"pinecone" is officially my new favorite insult.
Second runner up: Napkin.

The way you went from, "What a fuckin' pinecone," to the way you edited the eddievantailn2882 barrage of comments is a thing of beauty! 😀
