Everdying (interlude & outro) // Subterranean - 1995 that 2:24 change....omg eargasmic but basically i like all and so many memories !! The True Morning Star (Bonus track) this brought me here
Hard to believe that I've been listening to in flames 26yrs and their songs still sounding as fresh as they did when I first heard them. Can't wait to see you on 25th March for the 5th time
a new dawn was in my opinion the last classic in flames song, before that theres been atleast one song that is similar or inspired of the classic inflames tune but since siren charms and battles there has been no trace of their former roots in the music.
Dan Carlin jesper leaving after a sense of purpose somehow reminded them of what they have become and made them distracted from what they should do. Even the drummer left after sirens, things like that happens to bands that becomes "companies"
To all who find this: check out @September Dirge -- the guy has compiled an entire ~2hr Acoustic Rendition of jester race, colony, whoracle, and clayman and it's beautiful link: ua-cam.com/video/jSsO2RdOHAc/v-deo.html&ab_channel=SeptemberDirge (also has 2 opeth albums as well)
They changed their sound overtime because Anders' voice couldn't handle the strain anymore. for those of you who say they went "softcore" or w.e. listen to some of their recent live preformances of their older songs. He had to cut down the growl. Think about it The Jester Race album was recorded in what 1994-95? That was nearly 25 years ago ppl think about it. If you growl/scream for 25 minutes like he did back then it's gonna hurt. He did it for 25 YEARS! Personally I like that their music has changed the way it has over the years. Hope to hear them in another 25!
The only reason you would suffer strain from growling though is via incorrect tactics. It's clear he's learned over the years and he knows how to growl still, but the decision not to is most likely solely a creative one due to the softer music. I guess why people complain about newer In Flames is mostly because of how good the old stuff was, and as much as I like a lot of the newer material I don't think it ever quite reaches that ethereal quality they had in the 90s, though that's a personal complaint, not necessarily an objective one.
Not really "full" acoustic Melodeath bands. (anyone?) ...But Insomnium have some amazing acoustic tracks and Swallow the Sun have made a triple album (Songs from the north), which contains an entire acoustic CD. However, Swallow the Sun are more Doom than Melodic Death Metal.
Like I said before, I didn't include full acoustic songs for two reasons: 1. There are plenty of In Flames full acoustic songs playlists on UA-cam and 2. The video would quickly get blocked for copyright reasons. Thanks for watching! :)
Where's the users who read video descriptions? ;) I created this compilation ouf of snippets which were cut from non-acoustic tracks, as this is something nobody had done before for In Flames songs. For the many fully acoustic tracks, check the links below (not sure if they still work though, it's been a while..) or search for a playlist. But thanks for watching!
Haha it surely is missing Flea's funky bass. But hey the RHCP got me hooked on rock music back in the day. Then I discovered punk, then classic metal, then (melodic) death metal.
Moonshield is masterpiece
🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
Jesper is one of the finest guitarists I have ever heard. Such crisp melodies
The interludes in Zombie Inc. changed my life, got me hooked.
sounds like red hot chili peppers
@@atvena only 1000x better
Yeah, bit similar to RHCP, but far way deeper and better
Zombie Inc is their masterpiece. The song is so unique. The interludes, riffs, acoustic chords and solo are just perfect
one of my favorite solos by them and one of my favorite things to play on guitar
The transition between "Everdying" outro and "In flames" interlude are flawless..
No other band has this beautiful melodies in their acoustic tracks.
@Rener Abano Name one that is on par and I'll check. Thanks!
@Rener Abano I'll check thanks
Dissection has some acoustic parts like this, they're amazing

Great work !Alias solo. The Last gift of Jesper

That’s anders birthday by the way
The Jester Race, Whoracle and Colony are best albums ever made.
Clayman is a great album
You spelled lunar strain wrong
the most excellent compilation ever heard
These acoustic sections and songs are a part of a genre known as Neofolk 🙂😊
a new dawn was in my opinion the last classic in flames song, before that theres been atleast one song that is similar or inspired of the classic inflames tune but since siren charms and battles there has been no trace of their former roots in the music.
zyriuz2 I agree. It's like the former iteration of In Flames gained enough power to record one good track before being sucked into the void.
Dan Carlin jesper leaving after a sense of purpose somehow reminded them of what they have become and made them distracted from what they should do. Even the drummer left after sirens, things like that happens to bands that becomes "companies"
Agreed, loved that whole album.
check out Stay with me and I am above from their new album I, the mask! you will love these songs!
awesome job blending them together! Beautiful guitar work, I love In Flames
Thank you so much for putting all those great acoustic parts together :) I just cant resist to playing them all over again and again on my guitar :)
I fucking LOVE In Flames...I haven't listened to them in years, I'm going to go and re-listen to all of their albums again now because of this video!
My favourite is Moonshield, I think it's the best and most characteristic ;)
I havent listened In Flames years now.
It was beautiful! Memories are good :) Thank you

Moonshield 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Thanks for putting this up.
Amazing, amazing compilation. Thank you very much for doing this. It's beautiful, all In Flames music is beautiful to me. IN FLAMES FOREVER
Thank you for this. Truly music you feel.
I've just listened and it feels like a power metal album
What do you mean like that? You don't like it or you do?
@@5ar_ what do YOU mean by that? Why would a person considered not like a song if he's comparing it with power metal?
You have no idea what power Metal is if you think this sounds or "feels" like power metal
@@Morsmalleo I know what power metal is.
@@lucianodematos1094 obviously not if you think this sounds or "feels" like power metal, it's melodic death metal
Paliar Anders visa?
I didn't include complete acoustic tracks as they can be found separately.
2:46 best melodies transition 👀

"Metaphor"? For "A New Dawn" - a special thanks

a new dawn interlude literally sounds alike to Canto 34 outro

Finally someone who understands why IF changed and that that isn't a bad thing. :)))
@@MissNaomyo It is also a fact, that 90ties music is better than nowadays in my opinion
Where is Come Clarity?
Agreed. Its the staple of this type.. All these are great tho fs!
Anyone know some bands that just play death metal acoustic?
