Mummified hand manages to amaze me literally every run i see it in. I know it’s unbelievably good but somehow it still surprises me how much energy it gives you for playing the cards you already were going to.
It's good for so many reasons, too. High cost powers come with another card, so you can play an echo form and get a free block, for example. Low cost powers can hit high cost cards for big savings. Getting a free meteor strike off your capacitor isn't something you should build to expect, but it sure is nice. And power heavy decks can chain off a pile of them.
Like at the very least it's essentially -1 cost on each power since you get a free card from it. Sometimes you lower a card that costs even more then that and you pog to heaven and back. But -1 cost on ALL powers is insane even at the slightly weaker point of that free energy coming in play as a random card in hand it's still so fucking good
Letter opener did a lot of damage; Act 1 it delt 90 damage Act 2 it delt 153 damage Act 3 it delt 216 damage Act 4 it delt 60 damage This totals 519 damage throughout the run. I did not factor in block from enemies, however, I did count the hearts invincible as letter dealing zero.

Yo that Fattygottheratty guy is really sick and handsome, I bet he’s awesome and sick and handsome. Frost you should shout out that guy who is named Fattygottheratty who is really sick and handsome. I bet he has a bunch of super cool thoughts due to how sick and handsome he is.
Here's an idea for a challenge called Mr. Pushover. Juzu Bracelet Tiny chest Toking pipe Condition: Must say yes to all events that come up. (Your choice if multiple options for yes are available.) Hey andrew and frost! Just hit 18, and just wanted to say that your content has safely become part of my daily regimen over the last two years or so. Keep it up lovely fellows!!!
Try doing the prismatic challenge by using the diverse and draft options in the custom menu...u draft 15 cards from all classes to build your starting deck.
9:04 I think Balatro is way less reliant on RNG actually. Someone once did a 42 winstreak on gold stake twice, with rotating decks. You just need very good game knowledge
Its definitely more RNG reliant. There are so many bad jokers, cards, and blinds. And the base deck gets outscaled extremely quickly, so with a dash of bad luck the game gets really difficult really quick. On the other hand there are Jokers and such that are so good that the run is practically a done deal just by getting them. Additionally there is less room for skill expression meaning more RNG heavy. Most of the time its not like there is a crazy amount of skill in playing your hands, its kind of just make sure your jokers are in order, play your mathematically best moves, and hope the cards are in your favor. People spam restart in Balatro on the regular to get a strong enough starting blind/joker to make the run playable. Slay the spire you're just gonna make it work.
@@madisonking8057 you're just not good enough at the game. Understanding what you can do to draw your full decks for high ranking hands. Understanding economy and rerolls, understanding how to plan ahead for the next 3-4 antes and when you can play greedy for example. If someone can get a 40 winstreak (twice) on the hardest difficult of the game that should tell you something. On StS for example, even a good player like Frost can't beat the A20 challenge 20 times in a row like that
@@madisonking8057 personally, I've gotten completionist++ (beat gold stake with every joker) on 3 separate devices now, as well as completing the jokerless challenge many times so I know what I'm talking about haha. An example is playing Straights. The planet card that levels up Straight (Saturn) gives 30 chips and 3 mult. Because the hand itself is so strong, you only really need 1 hand to win the blind. The problem is then you need to draw them consistently. What you can do is instead of scoring jokers, you can opt for value-generating jokers for money, so that you can reroll for tarot card that helps you draw straight more consistent. With 4 hands and 2 discard (gold stake standard), you are guaranteed to see 30 cards if you play/ discard 5 cards at a time. Getting tarot cards to thin the deck down/ make multiple of a rank range can help you draw straights very consistently. You can think about StS as the same thing, beginners will think it's a lot of luck, but after playing the game enough times, you understand how to minimize RNG and pick cards/ elite reward based on how strong you think you are for the current floor, and how strong you need to be for future floors. You need to plan ahead for Slavers, the Time Eater, etc just like you need to plan ahead for bosses that can ruin your run in Balatro.
@betonamu7514 what are you doing against ante 2 Wall with no significant deck improvement? You're praying you draw well. Also once again 1 joker can win the run, 1 relic isn't carrying you in slay the spire.
Came to the comments first cuz I was so early, mistook the fart for fire crackling, scrolled up and replayed to see what was going on. Congrats Frost, I started my morning with you farting in my ears twice 🍻
When you hear talking about music on stream, but then only hear in game music. MAYBE that's a sign you should come to the stream!
wow mr. streamer, maybe we should come watch the stream
Whenever I see Frost putting his microphone into his face I think about all the times he farted into that microphone.

I second that

Eat a piece of chess

I'm glad frost is showing his shitmaxxing talent, its great to see your role models follow their dreams.
Lowkey this series got me trying out prismatic runs. IT's fun seeing just how many more synergies open up once you are no longer limited by a class.
