MW3 is by far my favorite cod of the sbmm era, but I always love sledgehammer cods. Also the ninja vest (I think) gave you dead silence automatically and freed up the boots category so you could add tactical pads and be able to shoot while sliding.

I enjoyed MW3's Multiplayer the best because of how much you can do with your loadout because of Aftermarket parts and vests. It was a great time to get on and play SND with friends and even run solos without a care in the world. The post launch content was great, even if it was a little goofy, they were amazing. While Zombies was a let down, the camo was amazing. And MW3's Warzone was the best Warzone experience I ever had. I miss it.

the thing about mw3 that makes it many time better then bo6 in my opinion is that you had so much to do the weekly challenges for a uniqe camo that you couldnt get again and the newly introduced prestige camos for xp was really cool aswel and the aftermarket parts that sometimes came around there was allot of love for the camo collectors in mw3

The problem with modern cod is that The game is finally fun when the next cod comes out bc of reduced sbmm and all the seasonal updates. Nobody likes to sweat 24/7 in a casual fps and play in a small pool of maps(Current BO6)
You have to run either hybrid or slide only because it adds a delay. Mw3 is just as responsive with those settings. Tap to slide adds a delay because the game is trying to figure out whether you are sliding or diving.
MW2023 is definitely in my top 5 for multiplayer for sure. Every weapon felt unique with aftermarket parts, we had all of the OG MW2 maps + a ton of decent new maps, movement was fluid, weekly events with actually decent rewards, and a ton of customization with your loadout. The only real issue with the multiplayer was honestly how bloated a lot of the attachment selections were, but I’d rather have a bit too much than too little, and a lot of the attachments available were unique and interesting (except the grips)
I think it was just the honeymoon phase,not to mention it was the first modern cod with this level of movement but it was pretty cool. At the very beginning, people actually mounted,they didn't run around like maniacs slide canceling and it was just casual for the most part. It wasn't until season 1 and then warzone that shit went south
lets be real the game wasn't bad at all, it a cod that had a skill gap in terms of movement alone without some jetpack or special abilities. You either couldn't hang and walked around ads or actually just learned to improve your gameplay and realized the game is fun
I do really kinda love this game. This was the first one that I did almost everything there is to do. I got interstellar on every mp weapon. finished the 10-ish mw2 weapons I had left over. And then got borealis and bioluminescent within a week of each other. It was fun, really.

I probably had the most fun I've had on COD in ~5 years at the start of MW3. That was purely because of War. It seemingly had no SBMM and your match results didn't count to your stats. This made for a perfect combo where people just ran around and threw themselves at the objective. Nobody would just sit back and play for K/D, and the lobbies weren't sweat fests. Playing on a map that was a mixture of maps from previous CODs was awesome too. Shame they didn't make any more maps if I remember correctly.

As a new generation cod player going from bo1-2 to bo6 I honestly enjoyed going back to MW3 because there was so many different guns for all scenarios wether you wanna chill at the back of the map and snipe to being up close and personal with a huge amount of shotties and smgs I feel like even BO1-3 launched with more guns I think the only other game I played was call of duty 4 modern warfare remastered
The quality of content is better on MW3 than BO6 with how stuff was spaced out and dropped. But I love the way BO6 plays more than any cod ever, and have been playing since og mw2/mw3
There was a brief but understandable dip in MW3 after BO6 launched, but I swear there's been a surge the last few weeks. Even with SBMM, you get matches so fast. I feel like BO6 just isn't it and I'm not alone in those thoughts. I played during a free week and went back to MW3 after a few days because I felt bored. I like the "turn your brain off" shenanigans of MW3. Gun Game is such a vibe.
Big Ben Roethlisberger won the Superbowl as a rookie but it wasnt like Jayden Daniels. Jayden is leading his team, as the best player, to the promiseland. Big Ben had the #1 defense and the offense was lead by the run game.
MW3 brought back the more arcade-y feel to COD which was missing for a while (yes Vanguard had pacing options but was another WW2 game), BO6 MP is very fun mechanically.. but the SBMM feels the strongest it has in a while, one good game puts you into 5+ sweat lobbies and im burnt out by game 3
I'm still enjoying BO6! Just waiting for season 2 because I probably won't play much once I reach prestige master. MW3 was fun too! Anything is better than MW2 2022. Man that game sucked
2019 was my first mastery camo and first ranked experience, thats why i love it always but bo6 is the best cod thats come out since in my opinion. Even cold war didnt hit for me and i know how beautifully crafted that game was. idk maybe it all comes down to timing on release
Not gonna lie Mw2023 aka Mw3 is poppin off rn. Especially cause the maps are better and it's more fun to mess around with the aftermarket parts. And shipment is better than Nuketown for Camos
I actually like MW2. Raids, spec ops, the big 40v40 maps and stuff was all really fun. I also enjoyed DMZ a lot and got the Serpentine camo from that which also was really fun. That whole era of COD is actually the most fun I have had in COD tbh. Also was my favorite era of Warzone too mainly because I like the map so much; Al Maz was such a good map and imo the best they have ever made held back by garbage mechanics like no pistol underwater like WZ3 fixed. I honestly like slower movement, I was fine with WZ3 buffing movement but then it got ridiculous over time as they kept increasing movement every season adding in ridiculous guns like Superi that could strafe faster than sprinting and other guns. Was not fun for me.
I miss MW3, really wish one day CoD would stop with the yearly releases and focus on one game for a couple years. But that’s not up to the devs. That’s up to activision, I still play mw3.

Dude im so glad its not just me. I feel like these companies have an algorithm that make you lose promo on purpose to make you grind/play the game more. I will have normal regular teams/coms all the way up until that promo game and for some reason shit just hits the fan.
Assuming BO6 was still like it was at launch, it would be in my top 5 CoD’s at least. I absolutely loved BO6, and played an ungodly amount, I was WAY ahead of most people during the first three weeks. I had already reached Prestige Master lvl 171 with Dark Matter done, ALL Mastery Badges done except for 1-3 pieces of equipment, and a good chunk of Nebula done as well, which wasn’t too common at the time. Now, I haven’t even reached level 200 since the month mark because I simply don’t play the game while it’s in this state. They NEED to revert THE patch, or even better yet, actually bring down SBMM/EOMM to a normal level for everyone’s benefit
I gotta admit I really enjoyed the camo system the amount of universal camos we had from events was so good but so far for bo6 they don’t have many universal camos and most of the stuff are behind bundles
i already went back and it’s so chill now. crazy amount of content in the game. cods are lowkey the best when the next one drops

As a new generation cod player going from bo1-2 to bo6 I honestly enjoyed going back to MW3 because there was so many different guns for all scenarios wether you wanna chill at the back of the map and snipe to being up close and personal with a huge amount of shotties and smgs I feel like even BO1-3 launched with more guns I think the only other game I played was call of duty 4 modern warfare remastered

The quality of content is better on MW3 than BO6 with how stuff was spaced out and dropped. But I love the way BO6 plays more than any cod ever, and have been playing since og mw2/mw3

There was a brief but understandable dip in MW3 after BO6 launched, but I swear there's been a surge the last few weeks. Even with SBMM, you get matches so fast. I feel like BO6 just isn't it and I'm not alone in those thoughts. I played during a free week and went back to MW3 after a few days because I felt bored. I like the "turn your brain off" shenanigans of MW3. Gun Game is such a vibe.

MW3 brought back the more arcade-y feel to COD which was missing for a while (yes Vanguard had pacing options but was another WW2 game), BO6 MP is very fun mechanically.. but the SBMM feels the strongest it has in a while, one good game puts you into 5+ sweat lobbies and im burnt out by game 3
I'm still enjoying BO6! Just waiting for season 2 because I probably won't play much once I reach prestige master. MW3 was fun too! Anything is better than MW2 2022. Man that game sucked
Almost all of the streamers, cheaters and hackers migrated to BO6, so going back to MW3 actually is a breath of fresh air.
2019 was my first mastery camo and first ranked experience, thats why i love it always but bo6 is the best cod thats come out since in my opinion. Even cold war didnt hit for me and i know how beautifully crafted that game was. idk maybe it all comes down to timing on release
Not gonna lie Mw2023 aka Mw3 is poppin off rn. Especially cause the maps are better and it's more fun to mess around with the aftermarket parts. And shipment is better than Nuketown for Camos

I actually like MW2. Raids, spec ops, the big 40v40 maps and stuff was all really fun. I also enjoyed DMZ a lot and got the Serpentine camo from that which also was really fun. That whole era of COD is actually the most fun I have had in COD tbh. Also was my favorite era of Warzone too mainly because I like the map so much; Al Maz was such a good map and imo the best they have ever made held back by garbage mechanics like no pistol underwater like WZ3 fixed. I honestly like slower movement, I was fine with WZ3 buffing movement but then it got ridiculous over time as they kept increasing movement every season adding in ridiculous guns like Superi that could strafe faster than sprinting and other guns. Was not fun for me.

I miss MW3, really wish one day CoD would stop with the yearly releases and focus on one game for a couple years. But that’s not up to the devs. That’s up to activision, I still play mw3.

Dude im so glad its not just me. I feel like these companies have an algorithm that make you lose promo on purpose to make you grind/play the game more. I will have normal regular teams/coms all the way up until that promo game and for some reason shit just hits the fan.

Assuming BO6 was still like it was at launch, it would be in my top 5 CoD’s at least. I absolutely loved BO6, and played an ungodly amount, I was WAY ahead of most people during the first three weeks. I had already reached Prestige Master lvl 171 with Dark Matter done, ALL Mastery Badges done except for 1-3 pieces of equipment, and a good chunk of Nebula done as well, which wasn’t too common at the time. Now, I haven’t even reached level 200 since the month mark because I simply don’t play the game while it’s in this state. They NEED to revert THE patch, or even better yet, actually bring down SBMM/EOMM to a normal level for everyone’s benefit
