In the late 1960s a New Orleans judge ruled, correctly, that the Warren Commission findings (into the JFK assassination) were hearsay and insisted that the lawyers argue the facts of the case. That is one thing that has always bothered me about this incident, given that it was a hoax, why did they get Bickerstaff to film himself in that way where it was so obvious noone around him was behaving like something bad had happened. They had ample time to create a convincing set up where he's filming himself (which is dodgy anyway) and get aload of actors to play their part in the background. Maybe they put that video out as a nod to show it was staged.

Not everyone is backing Richard up. I think the ones who are are people who are already famiiar with his work, ie truth people. Mention him to any random person and mention Manchester being staged and they will tell you they have never heard of him and think it was a real terrorist attack.
