Amazing, how patiently the sea lion is waiting. He definitely must have interacted with humans many times and knows how to react. Greetings from Germany.
I do find it fascinating that he knew that the big fish would be his last. He’s like, no need to stay anymore this will get me my fill. Totally cool to watch animals think.
@@KK-wk1id Under normal circumstances, no, they can be pretty aggressive if you invade their territory. But some of the smarter ones realized that if they act like nice sea doggies that some people give them fish.
It's clearly some sort of inboard design that allows the propeller to be more under the boat instead of on the back of it. There's also designs that hide the propeller as well and use an intake more towards the middle of the boat. Either way, the jet end of it is pushing water away from it so it's pretty hard to get hit unless you come at it from the side, which is pretty much impossible when you're above it and the hull in your way.
Wow that seal has trained those humans extremely well. Just amazes me how smart those creatures are to be able to be trained like that. I mean even a pelican can train em. 😂 😂
Guess who’s coming to dinner? That can be very dangerous petting them as they can inflict serious injury by biting. The Ocean Conservancy rescue in Namibia, who remove the trash from them when they get tangled in it, have been bitten when working with them, and they are trained and deal with them on a daily basis. They are wild animals, you have to respect their strength and survival skills.
wild ones yes, but this looks pretty familiar with humans; I live in a coastal city and there are couple dozens of sea lions at the local port behaving almost like domestic dogs; they know when and where to appear in order to get fresh fish, they even pose for pictures with tourists and never attacked any human; of course the risk is always there but they are well fed, lazy guys sunbathing most of the time so people treat them like dogs lol
@@alerey4363 I can see your point, but people should still exercise caution, and keep their guard up! They are still wild animals, even though they are accustomed to being around people. As you are more aware than I, from being around them, they are still large animals with great strength, very sharp teeth, and instinctive survival skills.
@@janetyurkin822 indeed but as with pidgeons, who totally evolved to lose fear to humans and feed from tons of city food, these sea lions that inhabit populated areas have evolved to be quite domestic because they know there's food and also they know humans dont hurt them, all the contrary; this behaviour is indeed passed from generation to generation, they are quite intelligent and learnt that; of course nobody is gonna adopt them and bring them to their houses but feeding petting and taking selfies with them have proved to be a safe activity so far
@@alerey4363 You pointed out a few things that gives me a new perspective on this. They obviously know a good thing when they see it. Thank you, it was nice having this discussion with you.
I was on that charter the boat salsa about 4 years ago. Caught a boatload of tuna. Same with the sea lion and always that dam pelican. How was the fishing?
when it got that last big fish, lol "oh yes that'll do, BYE!", they're pretty clever to get humans to feed them
You don't have to be a clever animal to have humans feed you, especially if you're cute.
When he reached up for the fish he lost his balance and went back in the water
Yeah, that was the one he wanted
Wow , amazing how he jumped aboard and acted like a friendly pet.
Pelican was just hanging out too
The end got me cracking up.
Sea lion: "I'll take that, thank you. Adios suckers!"
.... he reached up for the fish, lost balance and went in water
Amazing, how patiently the sea lion is waiting. He definitely must have interacted with humans many times and knows how to react. Greetings from Germany.
Yeah they know what to do. Land on boat look all kinds of cute and adorable. Get a free meal .
I just hope no one will ever harm them ever.
I do find it fascinating that he knew that the big fish would be his last. He’s like, no need to stay anymore this will get me my fill. Totally cool to watch animals think.
Or he reached up, lost balance and went back in water
Sea lions really are the dogs of the ocean
Both had the same ancestors at one point, scientifically speaking. But yeah, both of them got that feeling that you just gotta pet em.
Are they safe. I mean like a dog's behaviour

Ocean dog.

Those animals were so chill. Neither tried to bite anyone. This was an amazing video.
He was waiting for the big one ☝️ 😂 ❤️
Sea lion is like "wanna take me for a ride on your boat?" 😁
He came up like I know you guys got the good stuff!

@@disciplesofjesusgh5584 me too, pity for the fish 😔 😊😁
Wonder if that’s Pancho down in Cabo San Lucas area. He’s well know for this type of thing. Like others have said, he has the locals “trained” 😂
I wondered that exact thing, if it’s Pancho down in Cabo? 😄🦭
Смотрите,как мило ! Животные и птицы - наши братья меньшие ,их

That was the sweetest thing I think I've ever seen!!!

So beautiful
Oh, so cute! For everybody but the fish.
Very cool. It's amazing how friendly that Sea Lion is.
Dang, what a great day at the ocean! I’m happy to see these
People feed the bird and seal ✌🏼. I wouldnt of been petting if though !
Pelican: Fed no fish and has to get a small fish himself
Sea lion: Fed all the fish on the boat and petted
thats discrimination 😤
The sea lion was waiting for the big fish to bid good bye to the humans 😊
So cool…what a great crew on that boat!👍👏❤️
Dinner and a massage. Tough life that Sea Lion leads. 😊
3:10 So long and thanks for all the fish!
That is a moment of beauty in nature and kindness from people
The last fish he's saving for later lol
The Sea Lion sure swam away content!

Incredible. Appear to be 'puppy dog
sea pets.' 😉
Wish I was there! 😛
Still not as cool as me feeding nuts to squirrels. 😝🤣 WHAT a life! Thanks for sharing your experiences with the world!
Humans: there's nothing left for OUR lunch!
I was expecting the usual "selfish" human reaction. Not this time. Congrat.
Oh nono, let’s keep feeding him until he gets too comfortable and gets cut by the propeller
Love them you made my day thanks!!!!.love sea animals love all animals
Sea doggo got a nice meal, I'm happy.
Now that is cool! That is the biggest dang sea lion btw, I'd have given him my lunch too ha ha.
Onr of the most awesome videos I've ever seen.
Hey look guys, the Food Truck is here again.
So glad I found this
Same because you damn gorgeous ngl
I was worried for the lady. I wouldn't pet my cat like that without expecting to get scratched much less a sea lion.
Friggin exactly. Those things eat MEAT
Those humans are good for a free meal.😄
1:18 that sea lion jumped out like a killer whale
I'd be afraid of that sea lion sampling my arm.
Incredible video.
He waiting for the big one, thank you good people..
AWWWWWWW2WW..THAT WAS THEEE BEST FOOTAGE!!!!!!LOVE IT
That's what you call fastfood
😂
does this boat have a propeller ? or air ?
The seal allows you to pet ! Amazing
Lucky people....Lucky sealion thank you , that you share the Fisch 🎏🎏🎏🎏🐟🐟🐟🐟 thank you for the Video

Пеликанчик! Класс!
Is feryy cute, the dack in the boat. 👍

Nice catch! (And the Penguin & Sea Lion were awesome too...LOL!)
What a beautiful place too they were at! Anybody knows where they were?
What fascinates me is how fast the sea lions are able to keep up and eventually jump up on the boat..
This lady have strong back muscles!!
I wonder how fast it was swimming plus against the boats propulsion
So nice of you to bring snacks to them
Best video I've seen in a while!
Who seconds changing their name to “sea dogs”?
I second that motion
In Malaysia and Indonesia, they called seals as sea dog (anjing laut)
effortlessly held onto a moving boat.
animal impressionante e feroz, parabéns pelo vídeo!!!
Omg so awesome!!!
Just Great!!!
not sure what kind of boat that is. is it safe for the seal with the prop turning?
im also thinking about this. we dont want any animals getting injured from those propellers
Mr pelican is like fish its what's for dinner , mr sea lion is like what ? did some one say fish MMM i want some .lol
You lucky people,😄😄
Amazing.
Sea lion "Is this fast food open?"😁

Why wasn't sea lion in danger from propeller?
Inboard motor
It likes very fresh fish 😀
The sealion came for the big entree. I wonder if he had to fight other bulls for this right to profit from tourists.
awesome content
Hermosos.🐬🤗🙏🏻❤️
this is why you don't go to SeaWorld to watch captive animals be in the wild and blend in.
Awesome
