I can understand how some people would think at first glance or first listen that they made this song to glorify money…. but guys HES TELLING A STORY!
He’s playing a character and painting a picture of how people in America live. In the second verse he mentions “can’t take it with you” referring to that famous saying “when you die you can’t take your money with you” and he says “now that I’m gone (meaning dead) think I had the wrong wishing well”
This song and video IS FREAKING BRILLIANT ART! The message was received! I’m so glad The Movement created this. Real storytelling real artistry and a real example of being true to who they are by telling a story about what they hate through the eyes of a gluttonous greedy character 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 as a fellow artist and lover of light and love I am so inspired 🤩🤩🤩😍😍😍😍 Bravo 👏🏽
I’m thankful you saw what they were doing here too. The song by itself is not enough. The visual art is essential for understanding the concept behind this project.
What a masterpiece!
the movement is so underrated and so versatile
Yeah I just heard the song live last night and thought to myself WTF is this garbage.... Came here to read the comments. I guess now I'll watch the video lol.
But anyway this is not the way to spread a message, there's not enough in the song itself to clarify that that's the wrong way to live.
idk maybe its the perspective youre hearing it from. cuz i definitely got the message and the song is dope af @@garrettpeterson9816
I caught that the second I saw them printing money in the beginning of the video 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍LOVE IT
WOW my new favorite song, bang with this track... what a vibe guys, look that beat
Jesus Christ is God. Seek him escape Babylon.
wtf does that have to do with the song? absolutely nothing. spam
@kp4380 Listen to the song, read the lyrics my friend. Its about a person who treasures money above all things until death where they regret it "Having the wrong wishing well". Babylon creates the desire for money, the constructs of our society that are created to force us into endless pursuit of money. The true escape is Christ.
Movement on FIRE!!! Can’t wait to see all the new-new this year boys!!
The movement killing it as always
Another banger! Love it! 💙🤙
I'm a new fan just discovered them at Cali roots 2023, this song lured me to the stage with sick beats, must've been the mushrooms. They left me stunned, then they played "fair warning" my mouth just dropped.... I will be seeing them three times this year and support them by buying merchandise, "Just give me the loot."
✌️
excited for this one!! Looking forward to seeing you back in Iriezona next week!!
🤷
So incredibly deep and real. Thank you.
Serious health issues in my 20s showed me it doesn't matter what we have if ones health is poor.
#atypicaltrigeminalneuralgia #crps
Countdown begins! One of my favorites from the newest album, heard it live in Vegas, see ya at the Mission next week!
MVMNT's hook and vibe, on point as usual. Love the album, love the adjoining artwork too. The team has brought it once again. See ya in Raliegh. Safe travels.

High Roller
U pushing a stroller
Look mom no hands
No Controller
Never needed to be dared
Y'all steady scared
I Am
And you Fear
The End is near
Gimmie the Loot
You dont want me to shoot
All I want to do is loot
I Am
A High Roller
Just saw them at Cali Vibes festival. Best performance I've seen of them yet
Ooh my it's been a long while since Set Sail!! I'm Glad to see you thriving ❤ spread the good
This is cool, but the best song is Jungle!!
How are these guys not bigger? They're so f'n great! Josh is a lyrical genius. I wonder if this song is inspired by a specific person it just greedy assholes in general...
Agreed. I find this song interesting as the message is basically the opposite of that of "orange sky". Feels satirical compared to their earlier stuff but idk really.
I saw them in Pensacola Florida this past December. Josh said a quick piece before they played this. He didn't mention that it was about anyone particular, but he did say he wrote it essentially to illustrate the reality of this mindset, but that it wasn't about him/he didn't feel this way personally.

so phat, thanks for sharing your talent! r/calireggae
❤️💛💚🤙
😐 love the movement, but missing their roots.
This is looks like they have gone to the dark side; the side that seeks to bring about chaos and chooses money as their god and you cannot serve 2. (whatever your definition of "god" is)
Satire, supposed to be ironic and show that money and living for it is an empty life and comes with nothing but loneliness and bullshit.
@@robfolz9346 yeah I totally agree, the message is good, but the sound that got me hooked is missing.
The song is actually a criticism of all that. Check out how the last line turns it all around
dense much?

Super pagan video, really disappointed

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Never thought this band would come out with some garbage like "High Roller"
big fan of TM, but this song didn't vibe with me. maybe it was the weird video.
You talking about robbery. Tf!
How did they come to this? Their message used to be about good vibes, this is just about money, this is not their original message
Listen to the lyrics! It will help you understand ❤️
Seems to be sarcastic to me.
Check out the last lyrics. It’s actually a criticism of greed and selfishness
While I agree I'm not sure I would have put this out, I do know for sure that it is written in opposition to this. He said basically said it wasn't about him and he doesn't agree with this mindset at a show in Pensacola this past December. I personally didn't like this song when I first heard it, and still am not a huge fan but I have a new respect after hearing him speak to it in person.
Im so disappointed. This does not raise my vibration. This looks like a tribute to Ba'al. Abhorrent.
It's cool you mention vibration. But I believe this song is meant to be ironic as the other side had mentioned.
Read the last lyrics. It’s actually a criticism of that.
Wow. Great writing, great video, great sound ... great message. ❤
