- My first build with the new kits! Today I'm renovating 910 Medina Studios aka the yucky small studio apartment in San Myshuno. I'm building this for a teenager who is just moving out for the first time! They have a youthful style and love pastel colours. I think this is the perfect size apartment for a teen or young adult who is just discovering their decorating style and is buying lots of trendy or DIY furniture pieces! I also love that they added some of the pastel pop kit textures like the strawberry’s and stuff on some mugs and more in the clutter kit
I am so obsessed with this kit! Please use it more, I'd love to see how you use this kit in your modern builds!
What a cute build. I love how you did the platforms to give more dimensions to such a small studio. It also feels like the bedroom is open and yet private. I have both kids and bought them right as they came out. I can't help myself with the SIMS I buy everything right away. I have played with both kits but you showed me stuff that I forgot we got and stuff that I forgot that there were so many swatches for. Thank you for all your great builds and ideas.
I agree with the purses needing to be brought to sims but also wouldnt it be awesome if sims used a wallet to pay for meals at restaurants? or anytime shopping.
With the whole empty cups thing, I recently had a good day (suffer from depression), and cleaned all the empty bottles off my bookshelf/nightstand. Didn't count, but in the deepest part of my illness I'd accumulated about 4 trash bags worth of plastic bottles. They'd formed a mountain on my bookshelf. Think I might be winning in the dirty bottles department lol

Current dirty dishes desk situation: two plates, two knives, two glasses, a tea mug, and two water bottles. But I'm at my absolute limit because I was already planning to bring them over to the dishwasher after this video. Most dirty cups I've accumulated before is 5 or 6, I think. Love the build, am really debating getting the pastel pop kit too now haha
I use the coat and key rack and use move objects to hang the bags on the empty hooks. From everyday clutter kit.

Love this! Lol me and my boyfriend don’t drink much other than water. And omg we get soooo many piled up. Sometimes I get a trash bag and do a major clean up when I get overwhelmed 😂
I like both kits and how they fit into this build but really liked your use of platforms. I think I'll be adding platforms everywhere now!

Watched to the end and loved the build! Trying to add the platform in but receiving a “an object affect by this action cannot be moved into your household inventory.” How did you get around this?
Thank you so much! Have you turned on bb.moveobjects? Maybe make sure there are no items in the way around the edges of the platform before you move it. You can then put the items back where they belong. Hopefully this works! I’ve never seen that error message before :(

I have had i think max three dirty cups on my desk at once, but i also have 8 water bottles on it that I brought to school and sometimes dont finish lol
My desk is right next to my bed so I use it as a nightstand the most amount of probably had on it was five or 6
I think at most I’ve had two coffee mugs - one from the day before, the other one currently in use 😂 But I can’t stand clutter so even that is rare for me. My husband on the other hand … every time he games I go in there and find half our dishes 🤣

I love the use of platforms in this apt. I struggle to get a diff layout in it.
We need more clutter stuff, like u said purses/bags, and also shoes and nicer jackets to hang on the walls

I will use 3 cups at one time. Water for my heath, a fruit punch or something for pleasure and coffee for my sanity. LOL. And when the day is over I will leave them there but I do pick them up the next morning when I need to wash and use them again.
I did the same thing when I got this kit, I renovated this same apartment for a teen 😂 You did it much better tho! Love your builds 💖

EA really needs to add more colours to every objects there is, like all colours that exist 😂 a light, medium and darker colour of every colour, that would give us more options and it would be easier to match things and use objects we like with the right colour, I also wish that they didn’t have different white colours for things, like some white colours are really dark or more grey or even yellow and there are some that are pure white, why can’t they just make every white a pure white 💀 AAAND they need to make some of the brown colours have less orange in them 🥴 and more cool toned browns, or just add cool toned browns to objects who only have orange tones browns

well i have per day 1 wather bottle (1,5l) and 10cups on my desk at work, but by the end of the day i throw them away. if i would let that pile up, ther would be 6 water bottles and 60 cups per week. XD

ages ago i got covid like mid depressive episode there were at least 6 cups which imo isn't that bad for how awful i felt, but i forgot a cup of tea wasn't finished so i left it for a weekish and since it was in a weird spot on my desk i wasn't using i just forgot about it and it grew mold. so gross. i can't believe i did that

Zeeeero. I use a refillable water bottle and if I'm drinking something else I'll walk it to the kitchen sink lol I'm way too tidy but my husband is...not. He has taught me to relax a bit in life which is nice
