My younger brother has autism so whenever I hear about a book that has autism rep I always put it on my tbr. So I will definitely be reading both the Kiss Quotient and The Bride Test. 💙💙
Hailey please answer my question! Where are you in the writing/editing/publishing process of your books? I want to read them! Please like this comment so that Hailey can see it!
I read starry eyes a long time ago. It was absolutely my favorite. Not storywise. Story line was okay. But I fell in love due to the ambience n feeling I got from reading about all those mountains. So I skipped the part of review for that book. I can't hear any negative thoughts on that book. 😂😂😂😻
Also I met you a couples years ago, at chapters without even knowing who you were. You helped me find a book! Do you still work at chapters, I would love to say Hi!
I feel almost the exact same about The Librarian of Auschwitz! I expected it to be a 5 star read and then ended up rating it 3, which I felt so bad about. But yeah, there's just something about it that just doesn't quite hit the way you would hope. I think the textbook feeling is a good analysis.
I'm so disappointed to hear the Librarian of Auschwitz wasn't amazing. It's something I was looking forward to check out. Maybe when I've learned Spanish, I'll read it in the original language.
If you like Romance books with families in, you should pick up The Marriage Game by Sara Desai... I picked it up because you hauled it and the Indian family game is STRONG!
As someone whose mom had early onset Alzheimer’s/dementia and had to drop out of college, DON’T base your life decisions around a sickly parent. Don’t ruin your life for someone else. You are allowed to be selfish if it has a baring on how you live the rest of your life. It sucks that anyone has to go through watching your parent deteriorate, let alone someone at an age when you still need your parent’s support.
I was also very let down by The Bethrothed! It was my first two-star read ever!! I loved The Selection- I’ve read it twice and it was super entertaining both times, but The Bethrothed just felt like a watered-down version. There was nothing compelling about it at all ughhhhhhhhhhhh. Everything she did well in the Selection was completely missing. Honestly I’m just gonna erase that it ever happened lmao.
It's not just you: I wouldn't love Say You Still Love Me because I don't think camp is great. I went to several "bonding time" camps for high school in an attempt to make friends and ultimately found the experience over rated. Everyone seemed hyper emotional at camp, so whiney and desperate to bond. That came out bitchier than intended, point is I'd have the same suspension of disbelief problem! 💕🤔😅
@@HaileyinBookland okay I'll wait for the new video. Thank you for replying❤️. I thought you would never reply me so I made like a list which has all the romance and fully books suggested by you. I brought the America Royals recently and I love Samantha's character. The book has more than 2 love stories as you mentioned so thank you for suggesting. I have also pre-ordered Cinderella is dead book, I am so excited to read that one.
@@HaileyinBookland and I am sorry If you felt like I'm not respecting your effort. I love to watching your videos, it's you who made me realise difference between normal books and books with quality content.
Haha, I was a camp councilor and my best friends and roommates are from working together at camp. It’s a camp culture thing...you spend months with a group of people where you go through the craziest experiences, that not many people experience with you. Seriously, no one else understands my stories about teaching privileged white kids how to backpack and get survival skills..or the times when I have to go out in the middle of the lake and save a sailboat full of kiddos.
I 100% blame Hailey for my crazy book buying habits 🙂
Euodias You say blame, I say accredit 😂😂
I like to do the same 😗✌️ lmao
ME TO and books with Chloe
Yes, more book recommendations - not like my TBR isn‘t half my books because I go wild since the bookstores have reopened :)
Hailey: *posts video*
Me: Hmmm.. It's time to stop everything and watch this
Me too :)
Sameee
Yes yes it is

My older brother has a disability and I do the same thing. :) Gotta support disability representation!

Starry eyes is my fav book of all time

I love the lights on your bookshelf so much!!!
Starry eyes was such a fun cute read.
I recently finished Lovely War and it was so good. it overtook my brain for about a week. I loved it so much.
Same. It was one of those books that when I finished it and closed the book, I had to stop and just think WOW, WHAT A BOOK!! It's an amazing book!
Also I met you a couples years ago, at chapters without even knowing who you were. You helped me find a book! Do you still work at chapters, I would love to say Hi!
I always get the best book recs from Hailey
I’m so scared of reading betrothed! I just finished the selection and LOVED IT! But I also will give it try thanks for your review!
Think I need to read The Selection series!
Definitely!
I'm loving this! A great way to catch up!
I shouldn’t be watching this because every time you post I go on a spending spree

@@anitababcock8238 I'll leave it on the TBR then, thanks!
It’s an amazing book. I totally don’t agree with her opinion, but I understand it. It’s worth a try.
She even looks beautiful while editing!!
Hi Hailey, can you please do a shelf tag please?
Hailey can you make a video on teen book recommendations?
I’m very interested to try Austin and Emily’s books so Time of Our Lives definitely intrigues me!

These are some great recs!
Second chance romance is my favorite trope, could you do a video on recommending those? LOVE YOU SO HAPPY TO SEE YOU BACK AND THRIVING(:
I am so keen on trying out the Bromance Book Club series and also Helen Hoang's books
How do you have timeee for all of these books
Yay!! Wrapups are my favorite!!
When are you going to be posting another writing vlog/writing update video if you dont mind me asking?
I recommend (my brilliant friend) by elena feranty
Hailey,
Have you read the tattooist of Auschwitz?
I’ve had the bride test on my overdrive FOREVER
Hi !I love your videos ❤️
AHHHH these books look so good! Thanks I'll have to check them out!
I think Starry Eyes is better if you are actually from NorCal. The setting is really what put it over the edge for me.
I loved Verona comics I can’t wait to hear your thoughts!!!
I'd love to discuss books with you i bet that would be so much fun!!
This is the earliest I have ever been- :)
Have you read any julianne Donaldsons books? I really love her:)
I love your channel!!
I love starry eyes💙💙💙💙💙
quarantine was over way back when I had to go back to work mid-may... it's not quarantine if you're not in your house

I swear I've never been this fast clicking any video
Can you do the part 2 video?
I’ll have part 2 and 3 out over the next couple of weeks!
What happened to your book? The one you was writing?
27:40 the end though! I have no clue where the rest of the series is going.
You really motivate me to read ❤✌
I am reading strange the dreamer by Latini Taylor and its taking way too long for me to get into the story. Not what I had expected.
Wow 16 minutes ago!!! Never been this early!!! Love your videos hailey ❤
My most recent read was Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and it was fantastic and I highly recommend ❣️
The betrothed by kiera cass reminds me of the belles by dhonielle clayton.
Hi
I'm trying to finish all my pending series in my shelves.
The Betrothed has a 2.97 rating on Goodreads and yet I still read it and gave it a 1 star. I can't read anymore books by Kiera Cass.
At this beginning of this pandemic I was finishing reading 99 Days. I was reading and saying to myself when are they in soical isolation lol

Who loves her 💜
I read the librarian of Auschwitz in Spanish and had the same problem as you. The way is written didn't make me love the story
Hailey - Book 1 I blame you all!!! hahaha.
What’s the font for your thumbnail
I actually got into adult romance because of your channel😭
Really nothing to do but read for now.
when i saw part one, i was so thinking: of course all of these booktubers read so much 😂

Can you make a video on adult romance? As you haven't made it since 3 months. Like a whole video on fluffy and adult romance books
I’ll do one whenever I have books to update, so probably not for about a year as my list is pretty much the same since it’s so recent! ☺️
