Scanned is fine, as once you scan a certified copy, it's no longer a certified copy and is just a scan. So you don't need to get copies certified. Arran

We have lived together in NZ from end of January 2020 to September 2020 thanks to Covid the 3 months visit got extended to 8 months.. Still not 12 though.. She was not included in my RFW application I did in September 2020 but we are still a couple. She's Thai and in Thailand at the moment. So.. Since she wasn't included in my RFW is it possible to include her in this VISA or is it better to wait untill I have my residence and then try for a partner visa later?

Hi Julie, As you don't have a partnership visa, INZ should ask for evidence again for genuine and stable requirements. However, there shouldn't be a 12 month living together requirement for CP visas, as there is no set minimum (we've had them granted for clients with weeks living together). So I'm not sure if I'm reading your questions correctly. Arran

And when I was there we inquired at his bank and they said I would need an appropriate visa show I was allow to. We have tried everything.

Hi Kyle, The INZ system will ask you about settled first and, if the requirements are met, it shouldn't ask you to upload the documents for the others. It will force you down the settled path as it is easier. Arran

Hi Gurwinder, Unfortunately there probably aren't many options for you. We've done a few videos on the border exceptions that are available but, unless you work in critical healthcare, they likely won't be options that will work. We will see the border starting to open soon. Arran

They haven't really given an indication on what will open when. We don't believe they will start granting visas before 30 April though.

Is the person whose partner is offshore can apply in phase 1 for 21 rv?
The main applicant needs to be onshore. The partner in that application can be offshore.
