This was filmed a while back (they mention Unbound coming up, which has already happened), but more importantly they mention the lack of Transmission drivetrain, which are now available on the Santa Cruz website.
Agreed this bike is incredible especially going down hill on chunky single track. If your gravel terrain is rocky, loose and best suited for an MTB but you want to ride a fast drop bar bike - this is the one (unless you still have that 90’s MTB in your garage). If you ride on Gucci flat hard pack, this is overkill. Stigmata is like a Range Rover of gravel bikes - plush, fast and capable.
I have been riding version # 3 for about 2 seasons now & had to have my LBS add a dropper post right from the begining . Perhaps may not be too necessary if you are riding smooth surfaces but I would hate to ride my bike in the Rockies of BC. without it.
I assumed they were going for the (Catholic) bodily wounds (of Jesus when crucified) angle, basically trying to sound gnarly. Still, kinda weird association-thinking about crashing it doesn’t make we want to buy the bike more (though I do want to buy it ‘cause it checks all the boxes for my typical uses).

Thought something similar. Easily the most idiotic name a bicyle could ever get. "Stigma" is already stupid, but why plural?!
