I have a Mahindra 2638 with a Besko hydraulic loader valve. I broke one of the linkage covers and could not find a placement ANYWHERE. Mahindra could only sell the entire Joystick (over$700). After calling 5 other parts distributors (including 2 Mahindra dealers), Sharla at Short Line Parts took the time to actually try and help me. Together we figure out that the Koyker Cable connector kit PN# is K669298 might be a suitable substitute. She sent me one to try and low and behold, the cable cover (bonnet) fit. It wasn't an exact replacement but close enough. Several of the other parts in the kit were an exact replacement. Thanks to Sharla and the Koyker kit, I save a bunch of money and 3 weeks (wait time for Mahindra part).
Can I put a screwdriver through the valve spool hole with the bonnet removed so I can raise the loader enough to move the tractor into a better work area?
I have a BL25S Branson Loader on a Branson 4520R 2012 and have replaced the joystick 3 times. This is the fourth and I am looking for a cheaper alternative to the Branson Part TA00026742. Any suggestions or ideas? Thanks
We have sold a replacement joystick and cables setup to replace OEM setup on a Branson 5530. However, I'm not sure if you have the exact same setup on your 4520R, and I'm not able to cross reference your Branson part number. You may email pictures of your setup to sales@shortlineparts.com and that would give us a better idea of our joystick will match up with your setup.
In general, we recommend having the joystick in the locked position when connecting the cables to the valve. However, if you need one cable to pull a little less(or more), leave the joystick unocked and adjust the cable connector pieces.

What types of spool valves are these? My two valves don't have the threaded holes to bolt the bonnet to.
This is a Bondioli loader control valve. There are about 5 different ways the bonnet attaches to different brand valves.
