Craftsmanship! I would like to drive that Rivera after it is complete. These are some of the most beautiful cars ever built. I was 13 when these can out and still love them. 👍🇺🇸🤙😃

Seems like AM would have a chassis for a popular car like the Riviera.

I'm curious as to why the AM chassis main rails weren't moved to the outside (perimeter) like a traditional chassis architecture? Looks like they cut right through the front footwells and will now require the floor to be raised a good bit. Feel like I've seen other x-frame conversions where they've gone with a more perimeter frame that didn't invade the front footwells so much.

Hello, First want to say I love the work you guys do! Is the chassis being used the same chassis that would be used for a 63 Impala and would it require the same floor work being done to the Riviera? Would the GT Sport chassis require the same work on a 63 Impala as well? Thanks and keep these videos coming!

The floor work is not nearly as extensive on an Impala as AME "does" offer a GT Sport chassis. Here is a link that shows the necessary floor work...if you have more questions, feel free to call us at 541-341-3372...take care!! artmorrison.com/instructions/59-64-GT-Sport-Instructions-rev1.pdf

Completely off subject here, but I'm asking because you're in "the know" and hope you can help me, where can I get a mock-up foam block for the Australian Ford inline 6 Barra... In Australia they're so common, they just use a block...

Joe...hmmm...we are only aware of the std blocks used in the USA such as small & big block, and LS applications.

Love the shops quality work, but just need to mention this one tibit I have. It seems everyone is taking a short cut vanelaizing classic engine compartments ( the jewelry box ) of classic pro stock builds by choosing the ugliest plain jane engine ever produced on classics with the most iconic styling ever. those LSs are the ugliest engines to be produced. A 455 big block Buick with six Stromberg's hooked up to a Tremec would be more dignified with just as much horsepower and enough torque to melt any set of tires. just saying...carry-on fellows.

Rafael, thanks for the input. As a traditional hot rodder I love the look of a Nailhead, Olds rocket, early hemi, etc. As far as the looks of a LS engine, I agree they are not as visually appealing, but they make up for it in many other areas such as performance, reliability, and mpg. There are many vendors jumping on new products to make LS engines much more appealing to look at. We've seen them done up to look extremely close to Olds rockets, nailheads, Y-blocks., etc. I think many people have been fooled at what they are actually looking at under the hood of recent LS powered builds. Hopefully the "eye candy" of LS engines will continue to increase and match what they offer in performance.
