Hi! going on this ship next week same port. So did you just walk around and did not reserve any excursion? Is the cable car around the port area? Any suggestion. Thank you
The cable car to the top is right outside the port. Maybe 5 minute walk. You will walk by the shops on your way to the cable car. We just walked around. No excursions. We live in hawaii so we have enough beach action here. Have fun. Hope ur food is better than what we had on the same ship in Alaska back in October.
We are taking this cruise in late March 2024. Thanks for video but in future videos please move your camera much slower side to side or up and down as it makes us dizzy moving too fast.

Going on this cruise March 2024. Some of the ship looks similar to the Bliss. Coming from New Mexico, we have 2 beach excursions. We also have a historical excursion. Must not be your cup of tea.
We are from Hawaii so beach thing we can get here 😬. Yes the ships is similar to the Bliss. My brother was on the Bliss to Alaska in Sep and the. Me and my wife went back on the Encore to Alaska 2 months ago. Don’t know what the problem was but all the food were we are was horrible. Main dinning/savor/taste all bad. Granted the food comes all from the same kitchen but was REALLY disappointed in the food on our cruise in October versus what we had on the same ship in April. Enjoy your cruise.
@@jeffroberts5687 Oh, I am so sorry the food was disappointing! NCL buffets are pretty reliable, so we might just stick to the Local and the buffet! I was on the Bliss in Oct. to Alaska. Way too cold! I'll go in July next time! Thanks for the update!
what hotel did you stay at?
Don't think that NCL is going to be a good cruise. The food is bad, the service is worse! The drink package was very expensive and not worth the money. We were on the fence on which cruise line to use. and the fact is Royal Caribbean is far superior in all but one thing. NCL's bathrooms are bigger than even some of the suites in RC. That being said the rest of the check boxes go to RC hands down. Even NCL's Cagney's premier steak house falls flat on its face in both serve and food quality and understanding how to cook a fillet Mignon . The fillet was bland had no taste and it was served overcooked. When we requested to get a replacement, they could not do it. They were so slammed with tables, we had to leave without eating. our main course. They only make up the rooms once a day now, and with that they could take the whole day, We waited till 4 :30 pm most days. one of the pillows we got smelled like perfume!. Come on! get it together NCL. !!. Goes from boarding! till the end with disappointments about food and service. The ship was overcrowded and all the venues were ridiculous!!The shows are dated and low budget. Stay AWAY!!!
