The banter here is great
Rofl harbor freight jacks. Good info for reals, thank you for the vid! I am
About to replace my lower, upper control arms, inner outer tie rods sway bar
Best Video Ever
Thanks, question below wants to know what upper control arms you run. Are they stock?
Good job! I had Struts installed, but the top nut that holds it together come loose and off completely. So I'm looking for a solution to release the strut without letting the spring come flying out since nothing is holding it in place but the bolt that holds the strut in place. So will try this out with caution in mind. Great video, thanks!
A+++
It's much easier if you 1) remove wheel hub, 2) Pop the upper control arm ball joint loose (just hit with hammer on the side (don't use fork if you want to to not damage it), 3) pop the lower joint loose, 4) disconnect the 2 bushing bolts. ... and the exact reverse for install.
How did you guys break the hub nut with the LCAs loose (to disconnect the half axle) ? Stuck at that point right now
The only reason I watched this video was to see how you got that ball joint the rest of the way out of the spindle, and you didn’t show that in the video. i’m curious how you got it out after removing the parts that were in the way, e.g., half shaft. I was only able to get mine about a half inch of the way out with a pickle fork. and then spent a couple hours trying to get the rest of the way out with no luck.
Old white guy here, wish I had some black buds to wrench with , you guys make it fun
What size was that axle nut socket
I'll be doing something like that to my Xterra soon. Figured I'd see what I'll run into before I'm knee deep in it. Do you know what coilovers and upper control arms he's running on his Xterra ?
I know that he is running the Fox 2.0 Coilovers and I'm pretty sure they are the stock upper control arms.
Fox coilovers, 3" rough country spacers, spc upper control arms (trimmed coil bucket) and stock lower control arms
Hilarious 😄😆😆
We don't need no freaking jack stands!
That Xterra will out 4x4 a Ford off road.
Why did a buy a 1st gen xterra the lower control arm is the hardest thing to replace. Even the timing belt is easier.
What year is the XTerra, does anybody know?
2006 but it's second gen so is the most recent style that ran 2006-2015.
Great video but please be aware of rockauto parts for Nissan. I ordered Timken wheels bearings for my 2005 xterra and received aftermarket Chinese wheel bearings in a timken box. They are a fraud.
replacing shit parts with shit parts for the 2nd time
It’s so unsafe the way you’re doing it safety first figure out what I’m saying
Tires are 💩
On today’s episode of “how many racists comments can I fit into one video”...
Imagine being triggered by two friends actually having a good time. Tell me where it hurts on the doll
Funny shit! I have a 2012 Xterra, just did the same thing! Hey we need more love for Nissans!
