Great video I am watching this in the afternoon after doing the Mount Diablo climb in the morning and I was chuckling because you described it very well
One year on my birthday, I rode Mount Diablo from the southside, came down. The north side, went up to Clayton marsh Creek Road to Morgan territory went over Morgan territory, came down in Livermore side worked my way back to Diablo again it went up one more time back down and then to my house, I believe it was around 100 milesW
The first time I did Mt Diablo that last 15% section absolutely killed me (especially after the Devil's Elbow). Every time since then I have kept enough in the tank for that last part.
Love your videos! What would help when you explain a ride is maybe a route link to strava or other gps data in the description, so one can just download the exact route you are introducing
The disparingy way he says "the tribes considered the mountain a God ". Contrary to the new comers that consider a Carpenter from Palestine who they most likely won't give a visa. Every religion or religious figure seems crazy to the other. At least they could see the mountain...
I don't get how he said it disparagingly-it was in the same tone as the rest of the video. I think you're just inserting what you're expecting to hear into the video
This is my personal favorite climb in California! The view at the top gives a better pay off than any other ride that I have done in the bay area.
dude fucking Berkeley all the way up mount diablo is fucking bonkers. major props

great video! I like how you incorporated Relieve and Strava into it, gives a better perspective on the nature of the ride.
Thanks, it was Josh's idea, and I do think it works!

Road Bike Culture Many times, but long before mamils ruined the place.
Cool vid, RBC! Of course, now I'm gonna hate you on that last 500 feet!

Mt Diablo is no joke. Do not go there unprepared!
