Dear Ajahn Brahm, I am not sure that you will ever read this. But all the talk on 'bringing up children' was all my life's stories; dad and son relationship, use psychology in teaching kids and even a story about teaching Maths... Thank you ever so much
I love this talk. It's so inspiring to listen to this wonderful advices for raising kids or employees. To me this are the really important things, and even if I already knew them I so often need to get reminded. Thanks Ajahn Brahm.
Scratch that, it gets even more amazing leading up to the 26 minute mark. The heart of this video on bringing up your children with honesty (if you don't have an hour to watch it all) is from 22:30 till 26:00 . The other piece before that is about questioning being necessary. He says if you bring your children up to be honest and questioning that is better than trying to raise them up to be Buddhists/your own religion.
He is a respectable monk but he still admitted that he sometime wanted to impress another monks. Bless him! He is a real legend, I mean monk. With all respect to Ajanh Brahm... :)

Favorite section for me starts at 22:30 apx and runs for 3 and a half minutes, summed up by this.. Raise your children to be honest by this: "If you tell the truth you will never be punished or scolded. That's how the Buddhist nuns are [managed]."
Great clip. Wonderful and insightful talk. I have gained useful concrete and applicable tips which I could apply to my children and my students. Thank you very much. _(I)_ _(I)_ _(I)_
