I believe God wants us to be free and understand the value of freedom. Africa, and by extension, Uganda can not have growth without liberty. I hope that, above peace, liberty is on the table for Uganda. We may not "need" the West to realize our potential, but we/Africa still need a strong West to keep being that beacon, that city on the hill. If the West doesn't pull itself out of the mess they are in, Africa will never taste liberty.
