- Israel says its fighter jets have pounded more than a hundred Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon. The IDF says it hit rocket launchers and weapons facilities and also traded blows with Hezbollah across the border on Thursday. The Israeli strikes happened as Hezbollah's leader blamed Israel for the deadly device explosions targeting the militant group, which is considered a terrorist organization by many countries.

Not lebanon, hezbollah. Trust me they are two very different entities. I live in the north and I might as well be on a different planet
Nasrallah is powerless and has loathed his legitimacy as a leader. He clearly does not understand, nor has no strategy to oppose modern asymmetrical warfare.
Nothing distressing to see here. IDF is actually addressing the terrorist issue unlike US, UK, Europe, Canada and Australia who are actually making situation in the country worse for the law abiding citizens who need to fear to have a say in their own country.

I do wonder what the total volume of explosives launched by Hezbollah into Israeli air space is in the span of a decade. The fact that Israel's tech advantage allows them to intercept such a high fraction of the rockets does, I think, give a false impression to outsiders of how hot the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah is and has been for decades.

Lebanon should ask to join Israel as a province of a thriving democratic nation state. The transition could be supervised by an Arab country acceptable to both countries. Once all extremists have been deprogrammed, perhaps Israel would accept them. A one state solution.

So I was thinking about this some more.
On one hand we have Russia, occupying lands, terrorising and oppressing civilian populations, continually levelling population centres and infrastructure to the ground, all so it can expand its territorial scope and influence, really the worst type of imperialism.
And then we have China, who I likely are not pleased with all this stuff, but for strategic reasons feel compelled to prop up Russia.. clearly this looks bad for China, and clearly shows a lack of morality or ethics.
Now let's do a quick play with words, swap out Russia for Israel and China with the U.S.A.

Most of the lands Israel confiscates are justified as a "buffer zone", which they then go onto build infrastructure and maintain active population centres.. obvious can't be a buffer zone.. and now there areas get attacked, it will be an unfortunate consequence that Israel will need to take more land for a new buffer zone, which they will populate, and so on and so on....

Such behaviour is truly annoying to the Prophet, yet he is too shy to ask you to leave. But Allah is never shy of the truth. And when you ˹believers˺ ask his wives for something, ask them from behind a barrier. This is purer for your hearts and theirs. And it is not right for you to annoy the Messenger of Allah, nor ever marry his wives after him. This would certainly be a major offence in the sight of Allah.
