HC has a hole in the 1/2" connector, to put a pin through the socket and block it on the machine (to avoid it getting stuck on bolts or nuts that are damaged). Perfect if you use the same diameter of socket without often changing sizes. PC version has another blockage system: a spring loaded pin which adds friction to the connection of the socket to the tool. With this version, it is still possible to pull off the socket from the connector by hand (you need to pull hard though!). There is no option to put a pin through.

Why do Bosch dust extractors beep all the time it's very annoying
Our dust extractors beep to warn of a flow rate issue. This happens if either the hose is blocked or partially blocked, or the filter is blocked 👍
