Alhamdulliah, i have finished my hifz at the beginning of December 2022. Started in december 2021, so it's just under 2 years. It was a difficult journey at the beginning. I used to cry to my parents, saying my teacher gave me 1 page to learn, and i can't do it. I used to cry during my first of hifz, but subhanallah, i didn't give up. When i was during my first 10 a paras, i used to read half para revision, 4-5 pages of the current para from my sabaq to the last 4-5 pages, and then 1 page sabaq I started when i was 13 years old and finished at 15 years old. I started in an islamic school where i did 3 hours in the morning (hifz) and then academic studies. My major technique for my hifz was learning my sabaq in advance. As i had academic studies and homework, etc, it was difficult to go home and memorise one page, revise for tomorrow, and do my homework as well. So what i used to was memorise my sabaq for monday, saturday morning, my sabaq for tuesday on saturday afternoon and my sabaq for Wednesday on sunday evening and so on. However, i didn't memorise it properly. I memorised it but didn't forde myself to know it by that day. And so when i had to read my sabaq for tuesday, i would go over my sabaq on Monday, and i would know it in about 15 minutes. In this way, i didn't have to spend 2 hours memorising after school. With my revision, i used to go over my para for tomorrow during morning classes after hsving read everything. Every day, i woke up at 4 am. and read my 1 para revision, my 4-5 of the current para and my sabaq. I always read tahajjud before getting to read. And when i went to class at 8:30am, i would finish reading my 1 para, 4-5 of my current para, and my sabaq by 9am. Again, this required hard work, resilience, and willingness to sacrifice sleep and hours. Hifz is not impossible. Take as long as you can but never give up, and Insha'Allah Allah will assist you in your journey to hifz. Any questions comment them down below, and i will try to reply as best as i can.

Salamou aleikoum brother. Salatou eTahajoud is just like the regular prayers. The only difference is that you set your own numbers of Rakaats. They go by two. You pray two rakaats and you do tasleem, then you start over with two, then tasleem...etc. You do as many or as little as you want. When the Sheikh mentions listening to reciters for inspiration, and making it your own, like Sheikh Maher Muaiqly, he doesn’t mention himself. Sheikh Yahya Raaby is my inspiration, no doubt, and my love to recite the Qur’an grew ten folds as a result. Every time I recite the Qur’an, you’re cashing in on the rewards Sheikh, may Allah keep you humble and steadfast. Ameen.
Subhanallah yes, his recitation in this episode at the beginning made me cry. I tried to find it he had recitation of the whole Quran recorded , alhamdulillāh I found him leading taraweeh. Definitely one to imitate 💯

I really like these podcasts, do you think you can bring on someone who memorized the quran at an older age (as compared to in their teens) in a podcast inshallah? Particularly more on managing hifdh while being busy full time (e.g school/work).
Aselamu Aleykum Werahmetullahi Weberekatuh... hifdhstatus may Allah bless u and reward u...I wanna to ask question...the shenaqita (الشناقطة) their memorization is very strong and unique way of memorization like repeating whta they memorize more than 70 or 100 times 300 times and this is a very hard thing to do but ther memorization their murajea its very different so if you can get any of them U've really to bring them and present them I really want to know their way and i think this will be different and very effective and make us to know about those people In'sha'Allah
Assalamu Alaikum, will all these episodes be added to spotify for offline listeners anytime in the future? Jazakallahu khair again for the amazing content 💙

SubhanAllah I was feeling so upset yesterday about not being able to study abroad, then this podcast came up. Much needed reminder that I should exhaust all my opportunities here in the uk
Ameen
Thank you is all i will say in this dunya, the rest i will leave for the hereafter in'sha'Allah

Masshalah😊
I really like these podcasts, do you think you can bring on someone who memorized the quran at an older age (as compared to in their teens) in a podcast inshallah?
Particularly more on managing hifdh while being busy full time (e.g school/work).
That would be very useful for many of us...
This podcast is very beneficial may Allah put barakah in it! May I ask what‘s the name of the nasheed in the beginning?
Alhumamdulillah
ما سا الله
Would appreciate if the volume setting is turned up a bit, especially for the Shaykh's mic. Thank you.
