- Welcome to this video featuring the K line, in late 2022 and some in 2023! This was back when the K line was fairly new! However to this day, you will still see special K line ambassadors along the line, which is great since they didn't remove them after the opening buzz. As of now the line only runs from Expo/Crenshaw to Westchester/Veterans, with most stations in between covered, but there are several plans to extend the line both to the north and to the south! Until the lax connection, pretty much the k line is dead throughout the day.

The foothill extension project will probably be finished before the lax people mover. The san Gabriel Valley councils always take care of the citizens in the foothills/San Gabriel Valley.
Also the k line reminds me of irwindale station which is the quietest station in the A line.
The ghost town of metro. Oh by the way I rode the p 3010 number 1203 0:38 2 weeks ago on the A line blue heading to Azusa. I wonder what is doing back on the k line ?
It is indeed the ghostown! 1203 probably moved from the K line to the A line, this video was taken mostly during 2023 so that’s probably most plausible
Yeah, the K line probably has the lowest ridership of any line, but even the K line saw a 6% increase in March 2024.
However, once it connects to the LAX People Mover and the C line, ridership will skyrocket. That will happen in 2025.
Since the LAX People Mover got $200 million in federal funds a couple of weeks ago, maybe it won't be delayed as long now.
