The Traveler and Paimon run into Zhongli and several Liyue archaeologists discussing the origins and whereabouts of the first Mora. A Fatuus named Kliment comes in and claims to be not like the others.
The Traveler finds a few unnoteworthy treasures, but soon finds Hydro Mimics near a tablet. Zhongli notes that the tablet has traces of divine power on it, and advises Kliment not to sell it lest he get the wrath of the Liyue Qixing.
Kliment learns from Zhongli that Sal Terrae did have many treasures, but they were most likely pilfered off by Treasure Hoarders. Wanyan tells him about a ruin in the area, but he has no idea how to open it, despite having found a mechanism.
After making a contract, they make their way inside the ruins, where they find a chalice, a ruler, and a broken sword. Wanyan decides to break the contract, so Zhongli punishes her by telling the truth: the sword was used to murder Havria.
Baffled and enraged, Wanyan runs further into the temple, where they find more salinzed statues, including one in a pose that the Traveler recognizes as the killer. Zhongli confiscates the salt ruler and tells the Traveler to meet him at Guyun Stone Forest again.
The Traveler finds Zhongli waiting for them at the highest peak. He reveals that he had the Traveler come along because they had traveled numerous worlds and would be able to retain Teyvat's history should something destroy the world.

This was the best character story quest. The more recent ones mostly focus on random npcs and you don't even have the main character companionship for most of it which is a shame really! Although Clorinde's story quest was really fun (it's like a dnd game in the genshin game 🤣🤣) I really recommend that one. Really fun seeing you reaction like always thanks for taking the time to go through these quests 💜💜
