Skating in the winter sucks, I don't live in New York but I live in the inland northwest and it snows like crazy. I remember skateboarding in one of our dry spots that isn't heated and I smacked my hand and face on the ground in 14 degree weather and it felt like I shattered every bone in my hand and I broke two teeth. If it wasn't cold I probably wouldn't have eaten that much shit. Smacking your hand on concrete when it's partially numb is the worst.
