This video is the ultimate practice tool to help you learn and practice all your minor blues scales, across the whole range of the instrument. You can follow along with the notes, see the note names, keep time with the metronome, and use my sax tracks as a guide. The click is panned to the left and the sax to the right so you can blend the two in or out. Make sure you slow the playback speed down to a level you can manage without making mistakes!

Great video Sam, way to hang in there!
Thanks!
THIS is the best Sax Teacher !! I've seen ALL of the others and won't knock anyone as there are some great players , but to be able to Teach it all slips through their fingers , believe me, I've tried them all ... Again , Nothing bad .. Nothing negative ... But for my time and efforts in trying , This is the one that made the difference in my playing and knowledge !! Others show off and don't fully explain, then , you're on your own , and you may learn something incorrectly ... Sticking with this one and this one Only !! Thank You !!!
🙏
I agree!
Hi, Mr Anderson. Have a good day. A few last series "practice course", is a very, very useful staff. I training every day. Every day, hour or 1,5-2 hours. I do it with your instructions. And OMG, it's WORK'S! I periodically comment on your lessons. I try to write words of gratitude. At the moment, it's hard for me to find words to express how grateful I am to you. Amazing materials. Very clear, very accurate. Thanks to your lessons, the sound of my saxophone has become much better! I think you are very good, very cool teacher! Thanks to your fantastic work!
You are so kind. Thanks! 🙏
Fantastic, once again….. just awesome cheers 👍
Thanks!

🙏
Thank you so much!
🙏
Second!! Ha, I'm here to end world hunger! 😁
Ha! Someone’s on my list 😉
🎉👌👋🌟
🙏🏻
Superb exercises
Glad you like them!
Hi Jamie, when you do scales, do you use the palm keys or front keys for high E, F and F#?
Why not do both?
yeh, mix it up I guess. These scale tools are only up to F anyway by the way.
Did anyone else notice that Jamie's middle finger and ring finger always stay together very close to the pearls (keys) while his pointer and especially picky do all the acrobatics? That left-hand pinky roll maneuver is the secret to world peace.
😎
3rd! I agree with all of the benefits of the blues scale (except maybe reversing global warming and solving world poverty Ha!)
😎
If I can get these down, I'll have reached my goal with the sax. I have very little interest in jazz, I just want to be able to jam some rock and blues on sax, rather than the old cliche of the lead singer pulling out a blues harp.
Sometimes I wonder if I made the right choice! Sax is harder than it looks! 😁
... but worth the effort ...
First !!
