Yes, Milliput adheres well to just about anything. I've used it on metal, plastic, ceramic and even wood! anything with a relatively hard, grease free surface.
The reasoning behind the application was if Germany could invent magnetic mines so could their enemies - in fact, the British test deployed a rubber anti-magnetic mine defence of their own, seen on a number of late '44 Cromwell tanks. Great video though on an interesting subject. 👍
Great documentary and tutorial, Terry. The Zim tool is perfect. You have heard this before but I will repeat. You could sell those. The tow cables are completely realistic. Watched earlier videos when you worked on them. I lost the mojo to continue my 1/16 Trumpeter KT with the two turret option in favour of other projects. The plan is to have it in all metallics and is not going to be a representation of a historical tank so I will not have Zimmerit.
Thanks for removing some of the mystique of applying zimmerit, this video was a real eye opener. Does the Milliput adhere well to the plastic?

Your having sooo much fun why not get a bigger tank. That's looking good . Keep up the good work.
We're going to need a bigger shed!😁. Thank you David😁
Great video as always
Thankyou Lindsey, much appreciated 😄

As always, thankyou for your kind words. Surprisingly the Trumpeter KT is more accurate than the Tamiya. Yours will be an epic build i am sure👍👍👍👍
another great video Terry, just a thought have you tried thin it down with ipa
Thankyou Carl. Not tried ipa yet. I will give it a go on the next tank.
German tanks already so cool.....add zimmerit....even cooler!😁😁
