I've got a much smaller LEGO Steam Train Set that I bought on ebay. I found the instruction manual for it on Google Images. It helped a lot. It took quite a time to put the track together, but I managed it through determination. Now I don't have to wish I had one any more. LEGO Steam Train Sets are just as much fun as Hornby ones, make no mistake.
And I LOVE this video!!! Lego steam trains on double track, the little part at the end too, you know, the behind the scenes at the end, really nice!!!!!!
Certain locomotives look like they weren’t built with LEGO. That’s how amazing these look. 0_0 Are there any instructions I can look into so I can build me one of these?
Just search one of those locos on google. Those locos are: LNER A1 60163 "Tornado", SR Bulleid pacifics and LMS black five. You can make a replica in lego.
Check out a website called "block junction" for instructions on some British trains. Along with "Andrew Lord creative design" Both sell instructions for British LEGO trains.
Cool! Reminds me of how much fun I had building stuff like this with the wooden Thomas train sets as a kid. Only instead of a camera that close it was my face. One of these days I’ll get back to railroad building :)
Your videos inspired me to start making Lego train Mocs of my own. Currently I only have a Moc of James the Red Engine, a couple red express coaches (the brake coach is motorized), a black 14xx with a blue coach, motorized van, and a toad brakevan (because funny movie reference haha), and in all honesty, I wanna make more. Thank you for sharing your designs with the world.
Love this! these are great Mocs and love the use of straight pieces for a gentle curve. I dont like seeing lego trains get thrown around the tight bends. Just needs a bit of scenery and you got yourself and exhibition layout :)
Very nice trains and very nice video. I´m thinking in my double track. 9V is spensive, today I have a 9V Long curve and the other track is PF. Thank you for your video
I think what you're seeing isn't actually hunting. The oscillation is caused by the fact the curves are made by joining loads of short straights together!
Okay this is insane, you are very talented. Love the valve-gear on the Black 5. Please, please, provide instructions or make these in sets because there's loads of British train enthusiasts like me who will go crazy for these
technoandrew I’m sure you’ve heard this many times before, but do you sell instructions for your locomotives? I’ve been looking for a quality loco to either buy or build, but it seems that everything is either instructions only or very far out of my price range
Wow. Great models, swooping/moving camera shots, sharp editing... you really know how to make the hobby look good! I also love that you showed how you filmed certain shots at the end, too. Terrific stuff.
Thank you, it means a lot to hear that. Particularly with the editing, as that's something I feel I've struggled with in the past. Glad you like the 'behind the scenes' stuff too.
Those are great Lego trains , I really do appreciate your love for your Lego trains and trains in general. Everybody who loves trains had to start somewhere and railroading is very underappreciated by a lot of people. the love for trains will never stop because it's what brought this world (that we have now) together. Just to let you know if a solar flare were to happen, steam locomotives would be the only transportation we would have. This is just an estimate, but only the electronic parts of the steam locomotive wouldn't work (like the front lights and the back up lights). This would result in no night time trains total. The trains would have to run only during the day. Thank you for reading my comment, i really enjoy your Lego train videos, keep on making them. ☺🚂
@@technoandrew I watched a whole ad on this video for you because I know you put a lot of effort into stuff like this and how expensive lego can be. I have only 2 HO scale train models and a 1989 train clock, I'm okay at 50s-70s trains, but not steam locomotives, I once built a 1930s Mars Streamline train using a squid head piece for the front, that was perhaps the best thing I've done so far, but that was 4-5 years ago.
Train-Traum Thanks! It’s my parents’ living room so I can’t really claim ownership of it. The camera I used is reasonably good, but most smartphone cameras probably exceed it for quality nowadays.
I remember when I was sick as a kid, my mum and I would make a Thomas the Tank Engine track from the playset I had from my room to the kitchen, and if I need something to eat shed position it onto the box cars and send it back my way
My god those models look very nice and detailed. I think I saw a black5, a bullied, the city of tuoro (I probably botched the spelling of that) and the tornado Correct me if I’m wrong, very nice video!
Wow that is legitimate awesome dude I mean how in the hell did you come up with this that is really cool you should do tutorials on how to build those trains if you did I'd be very grateful
Is there any way you could show how to build or showcases of the engines? If not that's okay... Anyways, LEGO could learn a lot from you regarding trains! Great work, and stunning shots of this very well filmed video!
I hope you don't mind, but I have used this video as inspiration for my own lego train music video, using the same music, so I really hope you don't mind :)
These trains look *amazing.*
Could say the same because I’m a lego collector one of a kind
Oh, the magic of Lego trains, I like how you do the curves too, just a bunch of straights
THE grey train in the thumbnail looks incredible, and I love the making of shots at the end.
Its the A1 Peppercorn Tornado in its Works Grey livery
Wish these were all sets sold by LEGO, they are really good. All your models deserve to become actual LEGO sets
Me too!!!

The perfect British steam engine action marvelously recreated in LEGO, I love it!
The fact that the lines are actually LEGO not just stickers just adds up to the awesomeness
The song fits perfectly and it sounds like train horns and whitles too
You have no idea how relaxing this was
I love that Battle Of Britain class
Not enough love this needs more love
love that you built some of the most iconic british steam locos

I love Lego trains to😊
I used the stones to destroy the stones
Makes sense
That’s epic. I live in the town where tornado was built
I love it how the movement matches with the beat
It's nice to see you upload again

Good job on the Q1

I like the grey train and the Neville model.

I'm so surprised to see this very yet detailed build, this is the most detailed legi steam train
What's probably more impressive than the LEGO locomotives are your impeccable skills with the camera!

Awesome job at the train models! I love them, and wish I could do the same, so I could put them on my model railroad.
Smith movies, do you think you could do something similar to this video but using your own engines?
Smith Movies hello
The LMS Black Five is my favorite. I think that's what Henry was, except he was green.
@@SudrianShunter I kind of wonder why they didn't make Henry into an A3 Pacific because that would have been much closer to what he already was.

Michael Bujaki Almost. They’re connected on both sides, using a hinge piece and some offset plates.
