Thanks for the drills, although I'm curious to why you continue to spin another 180 degrees on the 3rd drill. Wouldn't that create a bad habit when vaulting. Thanks in advance.
We tend to use the corkscrew more with our bent pole drills, but this is used to prepare an athlete for the bent pole corkscrew. The extra 180 at the last second is so you land on your back. We've seen some injuries of athletes, even 18'+ jumpers, getting injured when they land on their shoulder or stomach doing drills
