- G'day Legends, in this episode Shauno and I head out in search of some rod bending action and it isn't long before some fish hit the deck... the only problem is they weren't by me! Shauno's has an absolute awesome day on the water, while I struggle to land a decent fish! That's fishing they say, and at least we had something to laugh about!

Little tip with the scent. Make your own out of old pillies and mullet. Grind it all up till it’s a paste then add some vegetable oil and fish sauce, mulch all together till it’s like a runny paste, stays on your plastic twice as long 👌👍

What do you lads think of the Zeikel rods ? I got a $1000 voucher for them when I purchased my new stabicraft at the boat show last year . The new boat just showed up so I need to cash in the voucher. He seamed like a top bloke when I met him at the show .

I kept waiting for you to whack on the Savage 3D squid that you slayed them on two vids ago - I saw you with the occy but did you try the articulated squids this trip? Love the banter. How about a collab with Rod from Rokkit Kit? He seems to be based out of that southern Gold Coast area and seems like a nice guy.

@@SammyHitzkeFishing Cheers for the reply mate. I didn't think about the weight - the 180mm is about 2oz I think, might be okay in that depth. Just got some Spotters (the Coyotes in glass lens with blue mirror) in the mail. Stoked with the fit etc out of the box, can't wait to try them on the water. Hopefully some of the Sammy star dust will rub off...

They are in a boat easily over 6 metres so they don’t legally need to, and there are two of them so if someone fell out they would pick each other up, and when Sammy is by himself he does wear one, hopefully this helps
