    The can opener is designed to work as a Philips driver and it works perfectly well.

      Yes, it works well for most, recessed screws. Thanks for watching!

      It works ok for non-recessed screws, but it certainly wasn't designed for that.

      @@choltzapple How do you mean it wasn't designed for that? It was exactly designed to be used as a philips 2..

    The 2d Phillips on the end of the can opener has helped me out a few times

    Nice video! I have a couple of pocket pry bars with screwdriver functions including a Phillips (Lever Gear Edge XT). Some even have torx bits for working on knives.

    The can opener screwdriver does work on philips screws but cannot work for recessed screws. The screwdriver on Victorinox Rally/Rambler/Minichamp is great for recessed screws and fits no. 00 to no. 1 screws. It works with no. 2 screws as well but requires some effort.

      This week I've been carrying the Farmer together with the Jetsetter which I'd bought for a business trip. Covers me for scissors and also recessed, or smaller Phillips screws.

    If you carry the Swiss Champ, you wouldn't have to add anything to the Spartan or carry anything else. :0)

    sir why victorinox army with wooden scale a bit more price rather than abs scale?

    • @urbanknifeguy
      @urbanknifeguy  Місяць тому +1

      Price of raw materials and wood scales are produced in less volume.

    Just saw your other vid where you mentioned your "stand operating pouch" that you used for work. Curious to see what other edc essentials tools were in there.

      @stevekkass That was in my previous career that I retired from 5 years ago. So I don't have that kit anymore as my current industry is completely different. But it had lots of tools, duct tape, electric tape, cable ties and a first aid kit.
