My favorite place in Ireland!
It’s extraordinary and beautiful.
What’s remarkable is the cemetery still has descendants buried - one grave has a family from the 1800s all the way to 2009.
Wow. This is the most beautiful place i've ever seen!
I spent a lot of time in the Wicklow mountains as a kid, looking for "leprechauns" with my brother and Irish cousins, who lived in Dublin. Every summer we'd visit Glendalough and the nearby waterfall - a fun place to explore. We also visited Powerscourt often. Thanks for sharing this beautiful video. Now I want to go back to Ireland!
Hi Veronica. I'm visiting Glendalough in a couple of weeks. Are there places to walk to for a lunch? Would you recommend a tour bus or just ride the Glendalogh bus from Ireland and do things on my own?
My hometown. And of course the garden of ireland
I live in glendalough!!!

Beautiful place and was just there about 4 weeks ago. Powerscourt was built by my relatives the Wingfields, Viscounts Powerscourt. The 1st Viscount Powerscourt, Richard Wingfield, was the great nephew of my mother's 14x great grandmother Elizabeth Hall (née Wingfield). 20 of us from the Wingfield family toured England and Ireland and had the opportunity to visit here. Later, we got to meet one of our distant cousins who was a daughter of the 9th Viscount and was the last of the family to grow up here from what she told me. Thanks for sharing this travel video!
