I replied to micheal hughes post on here as i stumbled on this beautiful song so sad it did not make it on to the album they should revisit this song totally blew me away debbie's vocal here totally agree with him i love it.
Such a loss that this quality song (and would-be successful single) was not included on Panic Of Girls. Paul Carbonara made some great contributions to Blonde over his 12 years in the band. I wish he had been given more space to be a bigger factor in the group. This song needs to be included on a Blondie LP at some point.
I am a huge Blondie-Deborah Harry fan and when I first heard this song it was a real wow moment. He vocal range is nothing short of incredible. No one hits those high notes as cool as she does like when she sings out "Those midnight cowboys shoot the breeze". The only problem I have with Blondie and this song is that it was not included on the album as it is superior to some of the songs that did make it.
Well i have just stumbled on this WOW!! totally agree with you huge blondie fan like you loved panic of girls this SO belongs on it this song wasted like horizontal twist.
I totally agree this song should have been on the album in place of at least half of the others that weren't up to scratch. As a life long blonde fan I don't say that lightly. I love this band but POG is my least favourite of all of their albums and it infuriates when superior songs like this come to light. Oh what could have been.
I really wish this was on the album its such a beautiful song...I really miss Paul being in Blondie I mean I love Tommy too they both bring a different style and i like them both. I wish all the members would come back and put their drama aside and Blondie could be a 12 piece band
Well, Happy Thanksgiving, May all your stress be filled a blessed holy grail day. Im Thankful to God for My Dad an Mom. An, the Universe. Bless it be. Forgive me for I love you all too damn much. Sonny Edmond Yazzie 0;) 11:48p. 0;)
I don't think Chapman should produce unless he updates his approach. I liked Def Dumb & Blonde but others thought it sounded dated and that was in 1989-90. I haven't heard anyone he's produced in years but Blondie's sound has been fresh without him so...???
not bad. i thought id hate it as it would be another jingly jangly boring song by them, but its catchy, and the violins give it a better aesthetic. sorry, i overanalyze. yea, the outtakes from "panic" are could be an EP on their own! theyre all good.
Deborah is Blonde & so much more. The solo albums are diverse & I respect her that she got her ass out there & accomplished many projects!!
Debbie did so much really good work that is not part of what we think of as Blondie. Debbie was better than most of us appreciated.
Great song and IMO one of Debbie’s best vocal performances
What a beautiful song, Paul! There's really some gems on the Panic of Girls sessions. Thanks for sharing!

I absolutely love this song, and think it should have been a HOT 100 #1.
I absolutely love this melancholic song.
I cannot believe this song is not part of Panic of Girls. It is a great track. Debbie's voice is great!
SO PRETTY. I LOVE DEBBIE'S VOCAL AND I LOVE THE STRINGS.
Really beautiful song. Should be on an album I agree. Love it!

Missed opportunity for Blondie not to have included this Jem on the album Panic Of Girls
