I don't get it.. You're creating static pages for each category but how do you make the category url point to that page? Because mine is just redirecting to the default woocommerce shop page with the relevant category filter.

exactly, you dont need woolentor to create an archive page with elementor. For customize archive pages you need something like jetwoobuilder

Thats a static page containing a static product category filter. You can do that using plain elementor+woocommerce. I dont see the point in creating 8 category pages and then change all 8 if something bothers me.
I generally do not leave comments at all because there are at least 100 easily found videos on any given subject. But, I was close to tears when I found your video and I am 9 minutes in to it and had to stop to leave a positive comment!!! You rock dude!!! Well done!!!

Hey, If I correctly understood, do you want a similar template for all the categories? if yes then instead of creating a page and editing with elementor, you need to create template with elementor, there is sub menu just below elementor menu in your wp-admin dashboard

Great Tutorial. Only one query. I am using "Tab" option in Layout Settings to display all subcategories. How to display "ALL" products initiallly? It only displays 1st Tab option's products only.

Hi, question: I think this will solve my problem? I have Woocommerce, free Elementor and use Astra theme for my website. I have 3 categories of things I want to sell. I discovered that I cannot sort them into categories on the shop page. It just adds them in a mixed up way. I cannot customize on Astra theme, the links don't work and I think it wants me to buy Astra paid for version? I really want to have categories on the shop page to make everything look tidy and professional. So if I follow this tutorial, I have 3 pages - 1 for each category how does that affect the existing shop page? I'd really appreciate some help, I'm guessing I'm not the only one - I saw similar question on another expert's tutorial! Thank you hopefully!
It shouldn't affect your shop page. Your creating static pages for each product category. You may also want to look into the Kadence theme. They have some great e-commerce options..

Yeah I'm not really sure to be honest. That might have to be done with custom code. I would look into woolentors documents.

Thank you for a great vid. I am just so confused with one thing. Can you please help me understand something. I can set up the store page and adjust a lot of settings. How do I change the pictures within the store. I mean how do I input my own product pictures instead of cartoon t-shirts or cartoon sunglasses. I mean I can't call it my store if I can't change the pictures. Any help would be much appreciated.

Yeah when you create a new product on the right side there's an option to replace the image. Just click on the tabs to find it.

Hi Uriel, I started my page a few weeks ago and now working on categories. I have them all saved and have watched this video many times. You opened a new tab but can't hear what you named it also what is the steps to have it show up under the menu SHOP. The other strange glitch I have is I set my page to 3 columns but only 2 are showing. May products are huge and I have made as small as I can and tried changing the margin and padding and nothing worked to give me 3 columns. I'm now subscribed so I don't miss anything.

I made the categories downloaded the plugin, dragged and dropped the layout but under product categories I can only see "Uncategories" I don't see the other categories created. Pleaseeeeeeeeeee Helpppppppppp

how can we use the same template as the default category page so every time no need to make a new copy of it. And it will automatically generate for every category.

You can add the catagory pages to the shop menu In appearance > menu

this is one method that can solve problems but not the ultimate one.

The change can take up to 48 hours. Is it possible to let people know the site will be back in 3 days.
@@nimbyard1342 I assume you got hosting for your other site. Depends where you bought your domain. If it's from wix you will need to transfer your domain to your new hosting. You can do that by contacting your current hosting provider. Than just simply change the name servers to your current host. If the domain was bought some else like godaddy that's better. Than all you need to do is change the name servers from your domain registrar like godaddy to your current host.
@@UrielSoto both my domain name is separate, they are both in 123-reg. 1 domain has a host, the other Domain is with wix.
123-reg also offers Web forwarding. Should I use the web forwarding?

It's not dynamic. If you decide to change the links or something, you need to do a lot of changes so you dont get 404 Page not found. And it's a lot of manual work, it's not automated.
If its set up as a product category already, you can't edit that page.
