- Come on a long weekend to Spain with me 🇪🇸
I’m off to Torrevieja, Alicante with my sisters to stay with my Mum and Dad.
It’s a little January tradition we have going on.
We crammed a lot into the weekend including shopping, a day in Alicante and plenty of food.

I was over just a few weeks ago and already can’t wait to get back. we have a house on La Marina Urb and my In-laws have a house in Villamartin. 🇪🇸 😄
I mean can you eve get enough of Spain and lucky you with a choice of two places to stay x

I lived in Los Montesinos for 8 years...lived in Calle la Paz,,just opposite health centre...Lovely Town..Charlys bar and Pepe's down opposite the Nissan garage were my favourites...Charly and his family sold the bar a couple of years ago..I moved to a village near Pego..Denia way 2 years ago...also very nice..As with you I didn't venture into Alicante...But I spent lots of time there when my Spanish Grandparents moved there after selling their Farm in Bilbao ..Brough back memories from all the streets i ventured back in the 80's...I have Family that live in Toledo...I spent many years there too...if you haven't been..you must visit...35 minute train ride from Atocha station in Madrid..you won't need a car there

Well to be totally honest there is no set recipe it’s quite organic and changes up every time however it basically starts with onions peppers and garlic fried up usually chicken drumsticks maybe some pork belly then paella rice and paella mix sachet from Spanish supermarket boiling water peas I think then muscles and prawns 🍤 it is amazing 🤩 and always tastes better in Spain 🇪🇸

I’ve never been to the lounge before in an airport and always fancied it. Which airport did you fly from?
I love it too. I wanted to be cabin crew for Emirates as I used to live in Dubai.
Spain is fabulous. I have a couple of friends that have moved there from the Uk. I take it your parents live there? That’s just fab. My brother moved to Switzerland. It’s beautiful but so expensive 😮.
That coffee and breakfast look delicious 😋.

Oh yes would have loved Emirates too !!! Wow you lived in Dubai , that must have been amazing ? No they aren’t there full time but spend a lot of time there we lived there for around 10 years previously so Spains always like home ♥️🇪🇸 yeah I’m all about the food too 😂
