Man, that is a lot of work for a entry level amp. It is pretty, the display still works and so all in all, it's now ready for a few more decades of use.
Great video. Mine after similar restoration sounds better than it was new (as I remember it). I still have two issues. After the restoration there is a significant crosstalk from any line inputs (tuner, aux, tape1, tape2) to the phono input. when I set the volume to 3 and set the source to phono, i can hear the sound from the other sources e.g. tuner. I do not remember that it was noticeable before. What would be the root cause? The frame around the fluorescent display has some scratches. Have you got a method how to re-new the finish? I was thinking about removing the frame from the front panel and sending it for vacuum metal coating. Kind regards
