Hi! Three things: 1. Did you know there is a monthly nerdfighteria newsletter that keeps you up to date on everything happening in the community? It's great: nerdfighteria.com 2. It seems some of you (the Brits, I think?) are getting ads for AFC Wimbledon's crowdfunding campaign. How lovely of them to support vlogbrothers! You can own a piece of AFC Wimbledon, and help bring them home to a new stadium, here: www.seedrs.com/afcwimbledon They didn't pay me to say that. They've never paid me. The money goes the other way. ;) 3. You're great.
Some days all you need is Netflix, pajamas, coffee, and two nerds doing epic nerd things. Drink water, take your meds, show yourself a little compassion today, and above all, don’t forget to be awesome. If all of that is hard, know that I believe in you.
John, I don’t want to get too greedy with your time, but I wanted to know that I reread TATWD again last week and found it extremely profound. The first time I read it I was in a period of relative wellness. I was doing decently well in school, taking decent care of myself, and occasionally even showing myself some kindness. About six months ago all of that crumbled. I was incapable of functioning at all due to my major depression. Thanks to therapy and lightening my load I’ve recently been slowly coming out of it, and the other day I saw your book and something compelled me to pick it up. Coming from the perspective of unwellness made Aza’s journey seem all the more daunting because as we know, when you’re ill it’s nearly impossible to see the bigger picture. I think that’s what I took away from the book most this time. Sometimes we get so wrapped up in our own heads that we forget that while OUR world is in our heads THE world isn’t.
@@mariewikiwaka3851 I feel you. I was in a weird place where I was working really hard on self-care when I first read it, and it spoke to me. John, do not beat yourself up over your speed of writing. Whatever you produce, will be spectacular whether it takes 3 years or a decade. To have your gift, is to transform the human experience. You have the ability to make a person feel, things they may never have felt before. Experience pain, joy, love, heartbreak, family, and emotion like they never have before. Like Hank said a while ago, "Art is the only thing computers are not getting really good at really fast." You are important to the human race, for your art is the scenery which makes running the race, enjoyable.

The Madison airport has 1 terminal with 13 gates. Usually only 3 max of those gates are doing anything at any given time. You can jog from one end to the other in less than a minute (I've done it). It's also just completely delightful.
The gift shop/news stand there is a place of joy and intense nostalgia for me.
The Madison airport is very small but very very excellent. It has local dining options, you can get through security quickly, and they will help you find your inflatable crayon.
Aww! I LOVE that Hank's opinion can make John reconsider his own opinion. It shows how much John trusts his brother's judgement.
Here so early UA-cam won't even show me a thumbnail!
I need John and Hank to write a book together now. Thank you.

I would read Space Prison Love so hard it would be bow-legged. 😂
I saw you both in Madison! I cried when John came out. 😭💜 The show was super awesome. Thanks for coming to Wisconsin!
I do want to read a book that takes place in space but they are just in a room talking for the entire story.
Ok but why does John say “cran” and Hank says “cray-on” when they grew up in the same house?? Team cran btw
They didn't grow up together. John went to boarding school. They have 2 diff hometowns and everything
I love you both.. And I'm really glad that your videos and channels are part of my life.
I'm making a short film called "Space Prison Glove" and it's also a love story
I just love these two people SO MUCH!!
Space Prison Love 2031!!! w00t!! It takes place on the first penal colony ship to Mars!
That was done. It was an erotic graphic novel.
It was... not good.
I saw the first question on a UA-cam comments and it's super surreal to see that the questions are actually picked from the audience
We need Space Prison Love!
I just can't choose a favourite, I love you both, and I'm both John and Hank at the same time
Hello Brothers Green! Space Prison Love. yes
This appeared on my home page out of NOWHERE, truly the smoothest reunion
I don’t mind Hank without glasses, but John without glasses makes me strangely uncomfortable.
I'm the opposite. John looks cute as hell with or without glasses. Hank looks really, really nerdy. And not the cool kind of nerd. He's much cuter with glasses.
So glad to know that there are others out there who remember Stephen's Laws Of Love!
Hank and John's collaborative novel about space prison love is surprisingly topical in 2031. Man, for the political simplicity of 2019.

We made it to Tuesday!!! Thank you for such a great show in Madison and I’m happy you too enjoy the sweet sweet music of the Dane county airport
“ I just don't like the way I look without glasses ”
- John Green
..
that's basically the opinion of everyone who had been wearing it for sometime , I feel less smart without them, I think my face looks better with my glasses on 🤓
pls. SMART people always wear glasses
My family likes my glasses more than I do now! My guy also says he likes them because they draw focus to my eyes, and he likes them. I do think people I don’t know well tend to treat me more seriously with them; at least the “smart people wear glasses,” trope is good for something! 😅 Still, if I could wear contacts, I would. And color-changing ones at that. I’d love green eyes.
@@SunflowerSpotlight in my family me , my brother and sister wear glasses we are like *the smartest kids ever* even in photos we like to put them and be *cool* , and yes people attend to treat you more seriously when you look at them through glasses _you know the look that I'm talking about_ anyway I think John is cuter with glasses and I'll listen to anything he'd say 😍😂
Please write a book together! I have been a Nerdfighter for about decade and I have never wanted anything more!!
Ive only been a nerdfighter for a couple years but saaammmeee!!
