Richard himself knows that he's a control-freak and the reason why he has Emigrate as a side-prject is to put all of his ideas in that instead of annoying the other 5 members of R+. They only talk about Richard since it's because of him that the band almost splitted in 1999 but who knows about the others? Maybe they are so different...Just...who knows haha XD Anyways, I like all of them and Richard remains my fav :)
Haha, it's so weird to see those two together. This black hip hop guy and then pretty Richard with his nailpolish and eyeliner. I bet Rakim was like "this white boy crazy." Does anyone know where you can see the full version of this show (if it even exists)
I actually like both types of music and love when they merge together. You get artists together with egos and boy it can be a pain in the ass. The finished track is awesome though.
Hip Hop and rock have already been merged. Remember Aerosmith and Run DMC...Walk this Way. I mean it wasn't a song that they all wrote together. However, it was a great collaboration. In my humble opinion.
"I actually don't give a fuck about the lyrics" "I kinda have a problem when people are talking a lot of bullshit." LOL But the song sucks. You can't hear any of Richard's influence in at all.
@DenisseSimonsKruspe that was from Richard's music video New York City, it was filmed in the bed but in the vid it's like in mid air or something.. have a looksee
if you didn't grow up with it it's hard to get into hip hop. i like hip hop, but i get sick of it. i'll take metal any day. also, that's kinda awesome richard listened to ac/dc. interesting that that was all he could get.
He - as rest of Rammstein - was growing up in GDR, where many things like American music weren't avaiable openly. And during communism some things you could get in Poland or Hungary very easily, but they were forbidden in GDR or Romania.
The whole thing felt like some Hell's kitchen US trailer filled with way more drama than the actual episode. Still a funny video, though. "So he ate the other guy's penis...and the song is saying: You are what you eat" :D I'd be pissed about the song too and I understand Richard's reaction. It did end up likeable I suppose. Too bad I hardly hear him in it. This Rakim guy, though. He seems cool. I like his rapping.
I totally believe that rap, hip hop, and metal should not go together. They both are too very different. I will say though, I would rather a hip hop artist such as Rakim to work with Richard because he is veteran in hip hop and I know he would be flexible.
I have to agree with Richard I am not in to "Hip Hop" that stuff sucks in my opinion.. If I had to listen to rap I would shoot myself. I love Rammstein and other bands like that.
3:45 Richard is being a goddamn Princess. If the other 5 aren’t there, he’ll find someone to pick a fight with, Jesus fucking Christ. Props to Rakim for not beating his ass.
Holy Shit Richard is just so bloody... epic. He's amazing.
I heard that he is a control freak and a great perfectionist. So I'm not very surprised with that reaction of his.
Upscent ummm....German so....yeah!
Heyyy... Where can I find the footage of Richard and that chick? For a friend of course..
Oh Reesh! so envy the girl in his arms and on his lap!

@lovinmylife7 ive heard that richard can be a huge pain in the ass in the studio according to other rammstein members and richard himself
Richard el mejor guitarrista
3:15 Wow, Richard managed to shock a rapper. XD
Richard tried connecting metal (more like punk) & hip hop. Listen to Orgasm Death Gimmick where Richard played guitar, vocal is quite hip hop one :)
that band was mostly influenced by Faith No More, so the connection was already made in the 80s

two different worlds . RZK is god but i dont know who the fuck is Rakim
If not, you are an ignorant. He is really an icon in old-school hip hop from when before it went pop.
Yo tampoco sabía de Rakim porque no escucho hip hop porque solo escucho rock. Pero por esto es bueno las colaboraciones porque conoces más de otros músicos.

I have to agree with Richard I am not in to "Hip Hop" that stuff sucks in my opinion.. If I had to listen to rap I would shoot myself. I love Rammstein and other bands like that.
