I'm 63 years old, and I look like I'm 73, but at heart ❤️ I'm 23. I love Lakewood Church and the Osteen family, from Dr. Paul to April, not to mention Momma Dodie and Pastor John. Pastor Lisa, of course. I lived in Dallas for 26 years and 6 months in Houston during Covid and got to attend church 2x. I live in California now but I get to attend online. Quick story about LYA. At the Saturday night service once, my cellphone was dying, and I wanted to plug it in, was advised to go upstairs, and found several young adults. Or they were more like young teenagers. Probably around 13 or 14 years old. Long story short, two young gentlemen led me to the "kitchen/cafeteria" area, and we plugged my phone next to a microwave. After service, I went back to get my phone, and there were the young gentlemen watching my phone. I thanked them profusely and left hastily because I didn't want them to see my tears of joy and gratitude 🙏 for God's goodness, allowing me to experience it through "my Lakewood family." To God be the glory. Kudos to Serena! Awesome interview. By the way, I started watching Joel in 2006. My birthday gift from my daughter in 2017 was to go to a live Lakewood Service for the first time. We drove an 8-hour round trip from Dallas to Houston and back. Got home at midnight. Best birthday ever. I love my daughter, Faith, very much! ❤

Pastor Osteen is such positive pastor. I read one of his faith books You Are Stronger Than You Think and I liked it. I like pastors who believe in prosperity! God wants His people to prosper.

Who is? Joel or God? Mega church pastors are all rich, as in millionaires. Does that not say what they are in business for? What does the Bible say about rich men and deceivers?

Deep down where? The depths of hell? He and many other millionaire preachers should be concerned about deceiving and beating their followers out of their money in the name of God. Wake up, look around, take a look at what worship and salvation really are.
Love your positivity, pastor! People will say whatever they want. But at the end of the day, you are living out God's purpose for your life.

Every service he leads people through a prayer of the Lord. My pastor friend at a healing service WAS delivered and he felt it leave of a spirit of Religion.

Feel good preacher, teaches everything about being successful on this earth and telling him everything they want to hear instead of preparing his followers for the kingdom of God. I like pastors who tell me what I NEED to hear and not grin like a buffoon, tickling my ears.
I could only sit through two of his talks-- they're not sermons cause he never once cracked open the Bible or quoted a verse. He paraphrased one verse, NEVER ONCE mentioning the cross, repentance or turning from our sin.

@@raulruizp374 years ago I use to listen to him EVERY SUNDAY as I got ready for church. So I've heard him a lot.
