Hiroshima seriously deserves more than just an overnight trip! I also have a 2 day guide to Hiroshima's main attractions you can watch HERE: ua-cam.com/video/J7oMy8cf-Ns/v-deo.html
I am going to Japan this year, really helpful. Sad that I will be in a group that only wants to go to the museum and the island of Miyajima. But I would like to return and visit these places
Joshua! Greetings from the Sake Capital, Saijo. This is Ione. Congratulations on completing the final editing of this amazing video. Your hard work and creativity will surely inspire travelers from around the world to explore the rich culture, history, and flavors of this incredible destination. Saijo’s charm and its renowned sake breweries are treasures worth sharing, and your video will undoubtedly help put it on the map for international visitors. Here’s to your success in showcasing the beauty of Saijo and its sake traditions...great job! Kampai!
Hi Ione, thanks for show me around I had a great time there! Id had a couple people message me saying they are adding Saijo to their trips glad to hear more are going to experience this great destination!
Joshua, I'm glad you enjoyed your time in Saijo. Next time you visit us, I will take you hiking to Mt. Ryuou, which underflow water is used to brew Saijo's delicious sake. It's great to hear people are getting interested in the sake tasting tour🍶🥳 🎶WELCOME TO SAIJO EVERYONE 🥳🎶
I can't believe that I'm just planning my trip to Japan and you just dropped this video. I planned 3 days in Hiroshima for a first itinerary draft which I thought might be too long as there is not much to do. Thanks for showing this, I knew there would be more stuff to do :)
14:44 yeah I went to Saijo last year and most of the brewery's were closed so no tours, but I did stop in a bar with a hiphop theme and they let me taste almost every local sake there, so awesome
There is a lot of great destinations close as well that tourists usually skip in favour of visiting the big 3 cities, I want to spend more time there this year as well, I was in Iwakuni for spring and the bridge with sakura is just amazing
Yeah usually I just stay in business hotels since they only cost 3-5k yen and im outside mostly, but I might have to change that and experience a bit more relaxation after this.
@@InakaAdventure How about Fukui? It looks amazing on summer with the green rice fields surrounded by mountains. And a hidden gem too with not too many foreign visitors. I'ts on our list as part of our next trip!
I used to live in shiga, next to Fukui and went there to go swimming and saw the dinosaur museum. It's definitely underated but quite a niche destination
Great video! I was wondering for the Navy school tour, I am assuming its given entirely in Japanese and there is no English available correct? Note I just realized from your video the Kure museum will be closed not long after arriving in Hiroshima this year and I feel like Its hard to justify going to Kure without that major museum.
They have English support, my guide had a translation book as well for the tour, they are working on making Etajima a lot more accessible for western visitors as well!
10/10 video as always. Really enjoyed learning about the local cuisines, modes of transport, main attractions and the accommodations you've shown us. The brief history and info on the Kure Naval museum is also appreciated. And the sake segment was highly enjoyed. Thank you for the informative, entertaining and engaging video, your style and comedy are perfect for these types of videos.
Cheers! This year I want to showcase more of Japans hidden attractions, people think Japan has an overtourism problem, but the problem is everyones going to a small number of the same attractions, if people spread out there would be no issues and there are so many more amazing places then just the usual tourist trail

12:26 A small moment of Jeremy Clarkson out of nowhere! 😂 Really sounded like him!
I try to fit it in wherever I can
Joshua, Thank you!
This one presented many new options
